We all have bad days...
Bad days are like days when you feel like doing nothing. You feel unmotivated, don't want to do anything... But the problem is that you have a lot of work to do.
On this video, I answer a question from a reader that asks me how I've managed to create 30 PluralSight Courses in less than 1 year, with a good time spare... How have I dealt with bad days?

I was listening to an audiobook and I've came up with a very interesting statement: "You have to let go of what you have in order to get what you want".
This couldn't be more true when it comes to getting what you want in your life.
Have you ever wondered why some people actually get what they want? Have you ever questioned yourself about why you don't seem to get what you really want in your life?
While there are a lot of different factors to this equation, one of the things that you must do in order to get what you want in life is to let go of what you already have, whether it is the comfort of your house, your neighborhood, your life as you know it now...
Watch the video and find out more about this.

John, What Is Gratefulness?
Gratefulness... Being grateful for everything. We hear that a lot, right? Especially nowadays with all the self-help gurus, yoga teachers on Instagram... This has become such a common thing to say and do, especially on social media.
I believe that saying all this stuff and not stopping to pay attention to the real meaning of it can be hurtful. We simply lose the real meaning and the powerful concept behind gratefulness.
So, what is gratefulness? How can we understand the concept behind it? Watch this video and find out!

"Origin PC Laptop" Review (2017)
As you probably know, I change PCs A LOT. I've had all different kinds of pcs, notebooks and other tech stuff. The latest notebooks I had were all from Surface series, which I also did a review on them.
Recently, I decided it was time to change again, and I decided that, for me to get the performance I wanted, I would have to buy a gaming laptop. This is why I chose the Origin PC Laptop series.
Here is a quick overview on the power of those notebooks:
"ORIGIN PC EON laptops with overclocked 6th generation Intel Core Skylake i7 desktop processors can easily handle a range of demanding tasks, from the latest video games to 3D modeling. With Intel's multi-core technology, your games, applications, and multimedia can run at full efficiency all at once, taking multitasking to the next level."

Specialization & Niching Down For Programmers: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjwWT1Xy3c4W5SK-MGjp_KSFZF2pEMCt8
Virtual Reality: Too Early To Specialize?
So, a lot of you have probably heard of virtual reality (or VR) over the last few months, right? VR is definitely getting more attention and exposure on the media and more attention is being drawn into this amazing area of expertise.
So, for those who don't know, Virtual Reality (VR) consists of
"Virtual reality (VR) typically refers to computer technologies that use software to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that replicate a real environment (or create an imaginary setting), and simulate a user's physical presence in this environment, by enabling the user to interact with this space and any objects depicted therein using specialized display screens or projectors and other devices. VR has been defined as "...a realistic and immersive simulation of a three-dimensional environment, created using interactive software and hardware, and experienced or controlled by movement of the body" or as an "immersive, interactive experience generated by a computer". A person using virtual reality equipment is typically able to "look around" the artificial world, move about in it and interact with features or items that are depicted on a screen or in goggles. Virtual realities artificially create sensory experiences, which can include sight, touch, hearing, and, less commonly, smell. Most 2016-era virtual realities are displayed either on a computer monitor, a projector screen, or with a virtual reality headset (also called head-mounted display or HMD). HMDs typically take the form of head-mounted goggles with a screen in front of the eyes. Some simulations include additional sensory information and provide sounds through speakers or headphones. Virtual Reality actually brings the user into the digital world by cutting off outside stimuli. In this way user is solely focusing on the digital content."

So, all this attention may raise a lot of different questions to programmers that want to specialize in VR. Is it too early? How it the market right now? Is it a shot in the dark?

Getting Started With Meteor Tutorial
A lot of software developers use JavaScript nowadays. Despite some polarizing opinions, JavaScript is still very popular.
Then, with JavaScript, comes Meteor, a very popular framework.
Meteor, or MeteorJS, is a free and open-source JavaScript web framework written using Node.js. Meteor allows for rapid prototyping and produces cross-platform (Android, iOS, Web) code. It integrates with MongoDB and uses the Distributed Data Protocol and a publish–subscribe pattern to automatically propagate data changes to clients without requiring the developer to write any synchronization code. On the client, Meteor depends on jQuery and can be used with any JavaScript UI widget library.
(Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meteor_(web_framework))
Since there is a lot of complexity right now around web development, JavaScript and Meteor, I've decided to record this Meteor Tutorial to present you and get you started with the basics and with what you really need to know.
In this video I show you how to get started with the popular JavaScript framework, Meteor (Meteor JS.) Wanna know more? Watch this video and find out!

Intermittent Fasting: Pros & Cons
"Intermittent fasting (IF) is a term for an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. It does not say anything about which foods you should eat, but rather when you should eat them.
In this respect, it is not a "diet" in the conventional sense. It is more accurately described as an "eating pattern." Common intermittent fasting methods involve daily 16 hour fasts, or fasting for 24 hours, twice per week."
(Source: https://authoritynutrition.com/intermittent-fasting-guide/)
IF is definitely one of the trends that are growing exponentially over the last years in the fitness world. People are using it to simplify their lifestyle and get better results when it comes to getting lean and building muscles...
Are you considering doing intermittent fasting? What are the pros and cons you should take into consideration before starting?

How To Become A Software Development Without A Degree?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWp1KKBCw10
Can I Get A Programming Job With A 2-Year Degree?
And it all comes down again to the old discussion about "Do you need a degree to become a software developer?".
I've talked several times about that topic and, in the end, there is no right or wrong answer to this question. Take me for example. I had no degree when I started as a software developer and I've managed to get a job at a huge corporation, like HP. However, due to this fact, my salary was lower than other programmers, due to the fact that I had no degree.
So, despite the fact that you don't need a degree to get a job, you might face some restrictions if you don't have one.
But, what about 2-Year Degree Programs? Are they worth it? Nowadays there are a lot of different programs out there that gets you "able" to code and program. But, what about their validation?
Are they worth investing? Will you be able to make and get a programming job with these type of programs?
