Kinda missed this garage last time I was here. lol
This isn't anything too special. It runs smooth, but for how long? Also that call station screamed TK minus the button.

Though this may look like a 5500, this is a 3300 XL due to the speed only being 150 FPM for both cabs. 5500's only go at a minimum of 200 FPM.
These are some smooth Modern Schindler MRL Traction Elevator installs and only my 2nd Encounter with the newer VR Buttons, which is EPCO Endurance. Despite the model being XL, there is nothing XL about these elevators as they only support 3500 LBS, which is also the Maximum Weight that both 3300's and 3100's support. The right cab also has a 2nd door likely meant for employees and likely service elevator usage.

Here is a silent and more successful retake of the main Series 1 Mall Elevator at Carolina Place Mall! This runs great for being a super busy elevator, and I manage to get a private take without any interruptions! I love the scenic view of this cab.

I discovered this mall while heading back home and I had to come see what this place had to offer. I was SEVERLY DISGUSTING to what I mostly found here at this mall, modded garbage. Not only that, I didn't have time for the 1995 Custom Dover Impulses at the Shearton next to this place. :-( (Oh, and about that place...)
Starting off with this elevator at the mall, this is without question the worst one here, in fact, it's one of the worst mall elevators I've EVER been on, just as terrible as that deteriorating 1992 Dover Impulse at Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh.
I'm guessing this was a Former Dover Traditional or Black Button, but has been DeInnovated with probably one of the worst excuses of a "Slop On" I've ever seen, even worse than the TK Traditional "Slop On" at that one Hotel in Gatlinburg. There is nothing interesting whatsoever about this mod, and of course they got the cheap ass looking Universal Fixtures.
This is also an elevator that fits in the DeInnovation/ThyssenKrapp Mod Curse, where every elevator with an Innovation Universal/TK (Usually MAD) mod automatically turns the elevator(s) to shit. Not only are the mods usually worthless, the cabs start deteriorating in ride quality. As seen here, the cab creaks a lot and the door operators are banging, like something off of several TK Traditionals, aka MR CLANG AND BANG?!?! Think of the Valley Hills Mall JCPenny's Monty Vector problems, but 3X WORSE!
Here's the stupidest part, the left cab doesn't even work and likely indicates it has broken down. Big goddamn surprise!
These are more than likely THE WORST elevators in NC! These are some of those elevators I'll never ride again, for whatever reason. Sure, the Monty at the Valley Hills Mall JCPenny one is deteriorating, but unlike that one, this cab is not worth getting trapped in and is MUCH WORSE than what the Monty is dealing with. Don’t waste your time with these, actually don’t waste your time with this mall at all because most of their elevators suck and are not taken care of.

These cab serve different sides of the commons building, cab 1 being to the right of the place and car 2 to the left. The 1st cab is a basic elevator with a lots of unpleasant noise to go with it. The 2nd cab is another basic elevator, but it makes less noise and does jolt a bit. Not much to say about these minus both of them being double doored elevators.

This mod is a joke, an unfunny one at that.
These were Brass Dover Impulses and they got ruined in 2021 by ThyssenKrapp, again. The only thing original left behind are the gorgeous cab interiors. This mod manages somehow to be even more of a Clown Show than the previous suck ass mod with those Rare 90's Traditionals that got ruined. The button choice (on the inside) is better, but with every "improvement" they go 1000 steps back. This features the Ugly MAD Screen, which the one I had was already glitching out and they run like crap. The outside had newer Lanterns that did a Horrible Job covering up the remnants of the Impulse Lanterns.
What was the point of modding these when they didn't fix shit? They made them worse.

Welcome to Early Access! All videos this birthday week in relation to elevators will all be released a day early from original uploading times, EXCLUSIVELY ON MY RUMBLE AND ODYSEE CHANNELS!
This might be the coolest Oildraulic Install I've ever seen! I kinda spoiled myself with this elevator online, but I'm glad I did.
We got a really cool customized Dover installed in the Mid-Late 1990's. The Call Stations (except the top floor) stretch out and also contain the lanterns on top. It has this really cool bronze finish to the panels and the entire elevator. And on the inside, we got Custom Impulse! This is a really awesome elevator that runs pretty well! I hope it doesn't get ruined at all from the "dMc oBsOlETe" garbage as this is a one of the kind!
