Hello to new members and fellow subscribers to this channel.
I wanted to make a short video about a few rules that this channel follows when we go exploring places this is due to other people causing damage and spraying graffiti on some of the locations we visit.
My aim for this channel is to preserve the history of the building and locations we visit so we will not be giving the locations on places we film from this point going forward.
I hope you understand this and enjoy the content on this channel continuing going forward
i would like to shout out a channel who has helped me out since i start this topic and channel what this channel is about.

We are not giving out this location because we do not want kids going down here in a rain storm and getting killed.
I can’t say I’ve ever been interested in exploring storm drains or culverts. But the idea of being underground in a confined space with rushing water all around me really never crossed my mind but I'm glad we found this.

Zuydcoote's "fort battery", also called the "eastern battery", is located on the coast of the municipality of Leffrinckoucke, a few kilometers north-east of Dunkirk.
It was built from 1877 to 1878 as an annex to the Fort des Dunes, built on the same locality, to the south-west, which has the specificity of having been built under the sand!
Both are integrated into the defense system of the "Zuydcoote pass", a site of maritime traffic and possible attacks from the sea, designed by General de Séré de Rivières. From this perspective, the port of Dunkirk could be protected.
The strong battery was built in yellow bricks in order to merge with the dunes! It was armed with four 19 cm guns and six 95 mm guns from 1888.
Subsequently, the "strong battery" was integrated into the Maginot line until 1940 before being overhauled and completed by blockhouses as part of the Atlantic Wall built by the German army.
