Hello all and welcome to our new look, monthly, business update show: 'The (Xad) Rum Diary'
Putting this out on the main channel for this first episode to address a couple of things that were mentioned back in early December, but never elaborated on. Also as a taster of how this show will look when it goes Patreon Exclusive from next month.
A quick small business Lockdown vlog. Introspection fueled by the current situation.
Thanks for stopping by and if you enjoyed the video please drop us a like and maybe subscribe.
Don't forget, we are a small publisher too. Check out www.xadrum.com for our books.
Kind regards,

Wot Eye Juste Dun Red. Ep One.
'The Book of Disquiet' by Fernando Pessoa.
As Xadrum is an indie publishing house Max and Sam felt the channel needed a show that fed more into that side of the business. 'Wot Eye Juste Dun Red' is the result. A book review show (hosted mainly by Max) for readers, by readers who aren't professional critics or an academics.
Check out our books at:
https://xadrum.com/ for our equally thought provoking books.
In this episode we kick off with the sumptuous 'Book of Disquiet' by Portugal's noted 20th Century writer Fernando Pessoa.
The format of the show is subject to change; like all things: evolution is a marathon not a sprint!

Movies Actually #22 | 'Salem's Lot' (1979) | Film Review
We've got a bit distracted on our way to the country, by The Marsden House. Thanks for joining us for this review of another film which has been lucky enough to be meddled with in Maybe Movies? I can't quite believe it was almost two years ago!
Check out the episode for a link to the new monthly playlist to see how the original shows worked out.
Thanks.

Movies Actually #24 | 'Fright Night' (1985) | Film Review
Welcome to out 'Fright Night' review (for real). How often can we make that joke? Anyway, as is our way Max and Sam are joined by Shane Smith from the 'All You Need is Blood' podcast as he was here with us when we covered 'Fright night' in our Sept. 2021 episodes of Maybe Movies? See the link in the episode to discover how that went.
Another huge thank you to all our recent subscribers. We're now at 250; halfway to eligibility for the lower tier of the YouTube Partnership Program. Please help us qualify sooner by making sure you watch to the end of our shows and help us get the required Public Watch Hours.
Now, #joinus and let's head to an 80's night club and cast no reflection.

Maybe Movies? Ep. 91 | 'The Count of Vendetta' Act 1 | 5 of 7 | "The Ire of Alan Moore"
We appear to be a bit grey today. At least to begin with. So, 'MC for Monte Cristo' is in the can, and we can now turn out attention to the second of our new films 'The Count of Vendetta'. V and Evey Hammond are the perfect young couple; living in Marseilles in the early years of the 19th century. Until jealous and designing minds see fit to tear them apart and lay the seeds of making a man in a Guy Fawkes mask - with a burning passion for revenge.

Maybe Movies? Ep. 156 | March Pitch Meet | #mashups
Hi, welcome to Maybe Movies - Mashups. This is the first draft of a new variation of our format where, instead of swapping key characters around; we lump them all into one new flick and see if it works.
Expect this month's shows to be a bit rough and ready as we're working this out as we go. Also, as a result there will only be four episodes this month instead of our usual seven. Partly because creating thirty-five shows twice a week over five months is a grueling workload for anyone, especially when the channel isn't monetized yet and I still need to work. But also to give us time to develop our other shows some more.
As always, if you like what you see please tell us in the comments and we'll look to doing more of these in future.
Thanks,
Max.

Maybe Movies? Ep. 162 | 'No Country for Professionals' Act 2 | 3 of 7 | "Getting Paranoid"
Was expecting this act to be a bit of a monster, but as the run time suggests; it wasn't quite the beast that we anticipated. All the same, we still manage to get to the marrow of the meat, does that mae sense? Who knows, probably best not to write these things when waking after a night shift.

The scent of #Innuendoitis is on the wind today. This terrible affliction can can leave both sufferers and others crippled with laughter and we have a butt load of it running around The Delirium today. we are looking for a cure, but this will probably go the distance...
Smutty afflictions aside, #JoinUs as we start to make some sense of An American Werewolf in the Dark, by navigating our way through Act 2. Max may be catching Shane's connection to Trent and realises he should have kept his mouth shut about song titles.

A quick intro video for this new playlist of roleplay gameplay for lovers of TTRPG. These sessions were run by my good friend Aaron Weight from his channel 'Aaron's Games'.
Includes:
Crash Pandas (four parts)
The Daemon Queen's Secret Tower (d&d gameplay, three parts)
Interdimensional Death Match (2 parts)
Hope you like it and if you are into TTRPG's then do check out the following sites, although in all fairness; if you're watching this then you probably know more about them then me.
