Hey guys, Muddog back again. Today I did another mining run with the idea of comparing the profits from it against profits made yesterday running cargo. Cargo is pretty straight forward on about how much you will make in the current state of the game(if you don't have a server crash or other issue). Mining on the other hand varies wildly depending on what ore you are able to retrieve. I was trying to be picky and only go for very good ore. This had an effect in two ways on this whole experiment. 1) The trip took longer than I hoped. 2) I was able to make a 50k UEC profit. If I would have taken lesser ore, the profit would not have been nearly as much, but I might have been able to make a couple of trips in nearly the same amount of time. I still believe the profit would not have surpassed what I made this time out. There are many people that make runs that bring in more money worth of ore. There are many of you that will make less. There is a very RNG calculation to be included in any discussion of mining when it comes to profit per hour. No two results will ever be the same. For me, Cargo Running is still my goto money maker! This is Part 2 of the Mustang Star Citizen Rundown series. We take out the Consolidated Outland Mustang Omega first and take her through her paces on the race track. Then we move on to testing out the Mustang Alpha against some pirates and we see her top speed and maneuverability. And finally we test the Delta variant of the ship much like what we did with the Alpha. I have to say the Delta is a fun little fighter to use and has surprising punch for its size.
