Omori - Part 2 Searching for Basil (Vast Forest, Pinwheel Forest, Pluto)
And the gloves start to come off. I intentionally broke the video where I did to prevent reality from crushing down on you. Here we meet Sunny and get some insight to his circumstances, which sharply contrast from the remainder of the game. You do not have to open the door or look in the mirror, but I did it for you guys because I care.
Once his segment is over, you are able to start searching for Basil to find out what is wrong. Sadly, he isn't home, but there are a series of red footprints throughout the area that may be a clue, so we start following them... ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OTJzRiEVek
Reaching the end of the Denari arc, we now must make a choice: whether we condone the use of the lifeless planets as fuel or if we will stop them no matter the cost. I opt to face off against the Paladin and her cohorts as she is a little more valuable than the Denari. This will influence the social link system somewhat as this will give Asaga a boost while the other side will give Icari a boost, so that may influence your decision as well. Just be aware that your choice here will affect the next sidequest and one of the scenes where the Solaris arc comes to an end.

This seems to be the least valuable piece of DLC so far. Mephisto has made a Faustian deal with a scientist and has come to collect his due. We stand alongside the scientist and face off against him, and bring the demon to his knees. With the pact broken, our mission somewhat ends in failure, but in the end, we are able to recruit Mephisto to our side who is nowhere near as valuable as Cleo is.
With this guy's defeat, the only DLC enemy left is the Demi-Fiend...

This map is extremely long due to how annoying Sensei is to fight. He is banned in a lot of play for the reasons here where he throws more men at you than Zap Branigan. It is not a hard map by any stretch of the imagination, but it is very tedious in that you need a way to shred his infantry.
The fast way through this map would involve Kanbei, Max, or Jess, namely people who have really good anti-air units. Anti-air cripples Sensei pretty hard in that he cannot use any of his specialty units safely. The named three also have the advantage of their tanks being better than his, so even if he builds those to bring your anti-airs down, your tanks will smash his. In the end, the only thing he can do is spam his power to send out countless waves of infantry to their demise.
There might be a way to sneak his HQ for a faster win. Otherwise, we have to claw through the pile of corpses to take the cities one by one so he can spawn fewer and fewer with each successive use of his power. Once you break the first couple waves, you should have enough units to go deeper as he can spawn less and less. Sadly, getting the HQ can be a little tricky since he can spawn units around it to put up even more of a meat shield.
I don't consider Sensei to be the strongest CO in the game, but he is by far the most tedious.

We have arrived at the enemy stronghold, and the first step is forcing our way in. We have to fight on different terrain as we make our way forward. And when we reach the end, we lose a pair of party members. With a little hope, maybe they'll be able to rejoin us for the final battle...

We have almost reached the top of the building, but there are a pair of spirits that stand in our way. On the flip side, this is the only floor that has a friendly spirit who is willing to lend us aid, as you see at the end of the video. In order to exorcise the escort, we must first learn about her relationship with the man at the end of the hall, and after finding her present, she can be put to rest. The cat lady is much more tragic and in order to put her to rest, we need to learn how deep her obsession runs, which is how she ties into the escort and the spirit residing on the next floor.
Also worth mentioning, there seems to be a plethora of glitches that happen with the cat lady, but in this and the speed run, we managed to evade them. It is safe to expect shenanigans whenever she is around, so I recommend exorcising her last on the floor.

I wasn't able to speak for all of these, but these days it is all pretty much the same. Anytime I start to make progress, I either get someone trolling or AFK, and the trolls adamantly refuse to surrender, meaning I get to lose points and play less games. I am hoping for season 2 that there is a proper draft system because some of these games are literally decided immediately after everyone locks in. Depending on what becomes of the game after Diamond and Pearl release, there may not be anything left though.

The next gym happens to be located in a fairly large city, but we managed to talk to everyone without reaching an excessive video length. There were tons of goodies to be had, so making the rounds was very much worthwhile. Once we have everything, we get to tackle our other version exclusive gym. Sword will have rock type here, but I have ice instead. Luckily, Chandelure is able to melt them fairly easily, so we can put our newly evolved ghost to work.

Here is the second of the three new secondary objectives, and this one I find a bit more annoying than the fleas (I have not done the 3rd one yet). You need to find these hanging membranes and shoot them to release the seed. Once popped, you can find the seed on your map as a yellow dot, but you need to be able to see the ceiling to find them. As a result, biomes like this one can be extremely difficult as the ceiling is very high up. Overall, this mission very heavily favors the scout as you have the flares for light, plus you have the precise weapons to drop them in a single shot.
