US and UK attacks on Yemen resemble Yugoslavia bombing – Russian envoy to UN
The US military says it's shot down three Iranian and ten Yemeni drones in the Red Sea region. The incident comes amid an ongoing intervention by the US and UK against the Houthis over their attacks on ships off the Yemeni coast.
The UN Security Council has gathered to discuss the crisis, and Russia has accused the West of posing the real threat to peace.
Heavy rain caused flooding in and around Istanbul. People had to remove water from their shops, pedestrians walked through streets flooded up to their ankles, and cars sank in potholes. In some areas, roads turned into lakes and vehicles became stranded.
