Scarlet grinned, shaking her head in amusement. "I'll make sure to pack one in my purse, Dad."
As the evening continued, Kevin's advice grew more outrageous and hilarious. He instructed Scarlet to carry a pogo stick for impromptu hopping escapades, to always have a whoopee cushion on hand for emergency laughter, and to master the art of balancing a spoon on her nose to impress potential employers.
"Remember, Scarlet, an employer who values spoon-balancing skills is an employer worth having," Kevin said with a wink.
Scarlet laughed so hard her sides hurt. "I can't believe you're giving me advice like this."
"Ah, but my advice is not just for amusement—it's for survival in a world that sometimes takes itself too seriously," Kevin replied, a twinkle in his eye.
As they continued their conversation, Kevin's "lessons" grew increasingly whimsical. He advised Scarlet to keep a stash of rubber duckies for impromptu bath time in public fountains, to learn to communicate in interpretive dance for those times when words fail, and to carry a pocketful of glitter for those moments when life needed a bit more sparkle.
Scarlet wiped away tears of laughter, her heart warmed by her father's playful wisdom. "Dad, you're one of a kind."
"Ah, but the world would be a dull place if there were too many like me," Kevin replied with a grin.
As the stars twinkled overhead and the moon cast a soft glow, Kevin leaned in closer to Scarlet, his voice sincere.
"Scarlet, my love, as you navigate the adventures ahead, remember that life is meant to be lived with laughter and a touch of whimsy. Embrace the unexpected, find joy in the little things, and never be afraid to be yourself, even if that means carrying a rubber chicken or practicing spoon-balancing."
Scarlet smiled, her heart full. "Thanks, Dad. I'll remember that."

This video is on how to pitch a TV show idea in 2023. Most videos on how to pitch a TV show is about the TV show pitch, but I think there's a much bigger problem to address, which is how do you get to pitch your TV show idea in the first place.

Before I had my TV production company it was close to impossible for me to get in contact with any TV commissioners or decision makers. I would be palmed off to assistants or writers rooms.
I quickly realised that I needed a TV production company, if I wanted to pitch a TV show idea to TV commissioners so I created a Limited Company and I made it dormant.
Making the Limited Company dormant meant that I could use it to gain access to TV commissioners, whilst not having to deal with a lot of the paperwork that comes with having a Ltd company.
Of course before you pitch a TV show you need to make sure that you have a really strong TV show script ready. I would highly recommend that you hire a TV show script consultant, to read your script before trying to book a pitch. Make sure that you have a TV show episode bible, as TV commissioners will be looking at where your show goes and how the characters develop over the course of a series.

It was a wild night at the B-Movie Comedy Club, where laughter echoed through the dimly lit room, and the smell of stale popcorn mixed with the excitement of the audience. In the spotlight stood David, an unsuspecting participant in the chaotic circus of the night.
David, a middle-aged man with disheveled hair and an overenthusiastic grin, had stumbled onto the stage after a few too many drinks. Unbeknownst to him, the crowd had mistaken him for a comedian scheduled to perform. The host, sensing an opportunity for hilarity, handed David a microphone, and the room erupted in cheers.
"Hello, beautiful people of the International David Party!" David slurred into the microphone, his eyes wide with intoxication. The audience erupted into cheers, thinking it was all part of the act.
"Tonight, my friends, I stand before you as your future Prime Minister!" David declared, waving his hands in grand gestures. The crowd roared in delight, believing this was the best comedy they had ever witnessed.
"Vote for the International David Party, where every day is a party, and every party is an International David Party!" David proclaimed, raising his glass to the cheering crowd. Hairy men and women in the audience clinked their glasses in unity, completely embracing the concept of an International David Party.
As David rambled on, he unintentionally repeated the phrase "International David Party" multiple times, each utterance causing the audience to burst into fits of laughter. His absurd promises of mandatory dance-offs and free mustache grooming for all party members only fueled the comedic atmosphere.
"And remember, in the International David Party, we believe in unity, love, and unlimited supplies of hair gel!" David declared, pointing dramatically into the crowd. The hairy men and women cheered louder than ever, their affection for David growing with each passing second.
Despite his intoxicated state, David's antics were winning over the audience. The B-Movie Comedy Club had transformed into the epicenter of the International David Party, a place where absurdity and laughter reigned supreme.
As David stumbled off the stage, the audience erupted into a standing ovation, convinced they had just witnessed the birth of a political comedy legend. Little did they know that David's International Toast would become a legendary tale, told and retold at the International David Party gatherings for years to come.

Zoe Lyons was born to an Irish father and an English mother in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Her family soon moved to Ireland, where she attended a Catholic primary school in Dunmore East in County Waterford. The family then moved to Clonmel, County Tipperary, to Epsom, Surrey, when Zoe Lyons was nine, and then to Glasgow.
Her first job was in a jam factory in Glasgow. Zoe Lyons lives in Brighton with her wife Sindy, a nurse, originally from the Netherlands, who is 14 years her senior. The two met 20 years ago whilst on holiday on the isle of Lesvos, through mutual friends.
Zoe Lyons shared an Instagram post in 2020 about her alopecia in hopes it would help "someone even just a little bit".
Zoe Lyons graduated from the University of York in 1992 with a degree in psychology. Soon making the decision to become a performer, she moved to London, and trained at The Poor School, thereafter working as a waitress while seeking acting roles and attending stand-up comedy performances.
Zoe Lyons appeared on the ITV reality game show Survivor in 2001, in its first series, placing 6th out of 16 contestants. She left after two members of her Ular tribe alliance (Richard and Jackie) aligned with the eventual winner, Charlotte, to vote against her. She was voted out in a countback tie-breaker - where votes cast during previous episodes come into play. Lyons along with the rest of the Jury of Eliminated players voted for Charlotte to win.
In 2004, Zoe Lyons won the Funny Women Awards beating Anna Crilly and Janie Phayre. Since then, she has toured the UK stand-up circuit, as well as playing regular gigs in London and Brighton. In 2007, Zoe Lyons debut solo show, "Fight or Flight", was nominated for the best newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2008, her second solo show, "Mangled Mantra of the Messed up Modern Mind", featured a joke which was awarded digital television channel Dave's Joke of the Fringe.
Zoe Lyons featured in The Independent's tenth annual Pink List for 2009, detailing the 101 most influential lesbian and gay people in Britain. Zoe Lyons was placed at number 81.
In 2011, as part of her second international tour, Zoe Lyons was invited to perform "Clownbusting" at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia. Reviews were favourable, with a critic from Australian Stage reporting: "I have renewed faith in stand-up comedy after seeing UK comedian Zoe Lyons. 'Clownbusting' is a magnificently written and delivered show which holds from start to finish".

Boris Johnson certainly managed to rally the troops on their first day back from recess this afternoon as he told the Commons that all remaining domestic Covid restrictions were coming to an end.
From this Thursday, the legal requirement to self-isolate following a positive test will come to an end. Until 1 April, people who test positive will be advised to stay at home, but after that 'we will encourage people with Covid-19 symptoms to exercise personal responsibility, just as we encourage people who may have flu to be considerate to others'. On the same date, free symptomatic and asymptomatic testing will come to an end too, with the Boris Johnson Comedy Sketch citing the 'vast cost' of the testing programme as a reason for this.
The feral mood on the Tory benches grew as Keir Starmer responded to the Boris Johnson Comedy Sketch. The Labour leader complained that the government was 'taking away the tools that will help' the public be responsible, adding: 'Free tests can't continue forever, but if you're 2-1 up with 10 minutes to go, you don't sub off one of your best defenders.' Today's statement won't have made any difference to the outcome of the police investigation into those lockdown parties.
But in a policy sense, does it make sense to decide to end restrictions and testing in this way? Starmer demanded the evidence for removing the requirement to self-isolate, including the impact on the clinically extremely vulnerable. Others complained about the cost of testing from April for those visiting the clinically extremely vulnerable. And, in a nod to the row earlier which held up the Cabinet meeting signing off the plan for living with Covid, Boris Johnson Comedy Sketch said that testing of healthcare workers would now be a matter for the NHS. The row had been caused by Health Secretary Sajid Javid demanding more money to cover the cost of this testing, and Chancellor Rishi Sunak refusing, saying it should come out of the Department of Health's existing budget. We will hear from the chief scientific adviser and the chief medical officer on the evidence behind today's decisions later when they join a press conference with Johnson.
