My Journey started when I was in school, as I’m sure it is the same for you guys right? I was a young boy, Insecure and ache all over my face. I found it a daily battle to fit in and find my place amongst the crowds. We as Humans are pack animals and all we do in life is try to fit in right? Who wants to be pushed out and alone? No one!
I found the more I tried to find myself in school with groups, the more I realized I thought differently, acted differently and wanted different things from life. This mind-set expressed its self in the way I spent my free time. While I was thinking about where I wanted to be in the next 10 years of my life and ultimately try to find my calling, even at such a fragile age. I did not fall into social trends or pressures, but created my own paths and walked it with pride.
Needless to say I was misunderstood, skinny and confused about where I fit in.
When I was just 14 years old, seems like such an age ago. I was introduced by a family member to the gym, a day that would transform the rest of my life and give me meaning. The bar bell saved my life and would change me forever.

You guys probably dont know how bad I plateau'd on my Romanian Dead lift a while back! I was just stuck on 130kg and could not get that 6 reps needed to progress.
So I switched upto Sumo! Which at the time I could only hit like 90kg for 4.
After working hard I got my Sumo up to 135kg and and decided to hit the Romanian style again!
With great success I made 130 look effortless for 6, 135 for 6 and then finally 140 for 3!
Keep growing stronger guys! It is possible!

Before we start I do want to honestly point out that in this video is my honest opinion and in being an opinion it is how I viewed the gym in my own eyes, your views and opinions may respectfully differ from mine because The Gym will offer other people different points of functionality.
That being said, The Gym is very spacious, clean and well designed with tons of Cardio focused equipment. The functional upstairs area is again, well equipped with the major defects, in my opinion, being the way it has been laid out with the TRX bands being put in a very strange place.
Those of you that know me and perhaps have stumbled upon my Youtube channel will know that I base my workouts with a heavy emphasis on Calisthenics and functional bodyweight exercises along with your traditional bodybuilding and powerlifting exercises.
Fantastic right? this gym has it all then! A functional area and a weighted are! Yes and no!
The functional area, although equipped with the TRX bands that would if positioned better allow me to implement front lever, rear lever, reverse deadlifts, skin the cats and many more calisthenics movements, won't allow us to do so because of the placement of them.

Okay okay yes, I get it! Im not saying give up the gym memberhsip, but rather try somehing new! My Hybrid Programme is just that. The best way to shock your nervous system is by training in a way the body does not recognize.
