In this video I take a look at an interesting flashlight from my local dollar store. Overall, the flashlight is pretty good! It is bright and has a VERY interesting switching mechanism to create 4 positions with a single push!

I finally fired up KiCad and designed something that I have had in mind for a long time - a simple board to control modules so that I can slow the process way down in order to truly understand how modules get controlled.

This video is about a great kit called the Coding Array Starter Kit that my friend and fellow tuber Another Maker kindly sent me. This kit is the perfect way to have sensors and input devices connected to an arduino for quick and easy prototyping and the example code will function just as well with standalone modules. Truly the only downside to this kit is its availability.

Taking a look at a mosfet board, typically used to power the heated bed on a 3d printer. In theory, this is a very nice mosfet but mounted on this board with a full-bridge rectifier on the control input, and a optocoupler protecting the gate connection - this module is a steal!

In this video most of the wiring goes in as well as the buck converters, it is really starting to come together!
The plan is to have 3v, 5v, 9, and 12v fixed outputs that can be used simultaneously, have multiple connection methods, and be portable and compact.
This took me a lot more time to film and make than I thought so I had to break it out into multiple parts.
