NEXA AutoColor waterborne primer surfacer by PPG is a new primer. THis is a waterborne primer surfacer that has a 24 hour pot life and is ready to sand 30 minutes after the last coat is applied.
We tested the primer and found it to work well. The mill thickness was not as thick per coat as the solvent primer we have been using. The new primer is also a 1K primer. All that is mixed is the reducer and it's ready to spray.
It is still new to us, but we'll keep you posted. If you have used it, be sure and let us know what you think about it.
