The band's style is quite personal, although it can be framed within "alternative metal", or also "gothic metal", being a fusion of various influences, such as rock, metal, electronic, post-punk and classical music. Fixion's discography includes four studio albums: 'En la Oscuridad' (In the Darkness) (2009), 'Paraíso' (Paradise) (2014), 'El Principio del Caos' (The Chaos Theory) (2018) and “Encrucijada” ("Crossroads") (2019), and three live albums: "Fugaz – Simples en Vivo" (Fugaz – Singles Live) (2012), "Aeternam" (2016) and "Sin Tiempo Ni Lugar" (Without Time and Place) (2021). At the Graffiti Awards in Uruguay all studio albums were nominated for "Best Metal and Hard Rock Album" and "Aeternam" for "Best Music DVD". As highlights of the trajectory, we can mention the five international shows with Sirenia (twice), Lacrimosa, The 69 Eyes and The Sisters of Mercy, three of them held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In September 2016 they toured Spain, performing in Madrid, Barcelona and two dates in Gran Canaria, one of them "Winds of Rock Fest" being the headliner. This tour had the support of Ibermúsicas, Agadu, Sudei, MEC and FONAM and received good reviews from the press and the public. In the first half of 2019 they toured the south of Uruguay, playing in the best theaters in seven departmental capitals. On September 18, 2021, Fixion premiered "Sin Tiempo Ni Lugar", a double recording in audio and video of his recital in the Hugo Balzo hall in Montevideo, held before the pandemic began. The show is in digital album format on all digital platforms and on the band's YouTube channel. The recital included the participation (among others) of the symphonic choir “De Profundis” who also recorded the choral part for the song “Requiem para un Salto” from the previous studio album 'Encrucijada'. Fixion is currently working on their next studio album, the successor to 'Crossroads'. This album is in production and its release is expected in March 2023.
