5x3 100 Kgs Paused Bench Press Back-Offs. Last Set.
Like I mentioned before, I was feeling pretty tired, and my bicep was bothering me. However, these still went fine I think. Nothing I can't handle, and nothing I can't PUSH THROUGH! I screwed up the timing of the song though, as I ended up benching during the mellow part, lol.
Man, I was not feeling strong at all today. Ques felt off, unracking game was really off, etc. However, my MIND wanted to excel. Despite everything, having 110 percent confidence makes all of the difference. The hardest part was just unracking the bar, but the rep itself went just fine. I just realized that you can't quite see all of the weight on the bar, particularly the 2.5 Kg plate at the end. That is unfortunate. I AIN'T NO LIAR, THOUGH. 120 Kgs MINIMUM is coming this year ??.

I figured I might try rotating the content that I upload as New-Tech Exclusives, so that I am not posting the same exercise/variation on Youtube every week. You guys on New-Tech sites get all of it! ;). I had a couple days of bad sleep on the weekend leading up to this due to work, and then afterward having a late night get-together with friends, that went on until the wee hours of the morning, hahaha. So naturally I was feeling a bit tired. The weight moved fine, but I could tell it felt a little heavier, due to being low energy. However, at the same time my form and tightness is definitely already seeing improvements, so the weight also feels much more manageable. This rep felt a bit harder than it looked. I thought that I did not perhaps do quite as good this time, due to how I was feeling/the rep felt. However, upon reviewing the footage, this rep definitely looked like an improvement from last week! Form is a bit tighter, and I did not slightly shift to the right upon pressing, which I have noticed is a tendency of mine when I am pressing heavy, and is something I have been trying to work on. Overall, this rep looked cleaner than the previous. Perhaps a bit faster, too. Which is encouraging! I am also consistently feeling very good after my training sessions, which is also a good sign!

As per usual, I felt very low energy/crappy, not at my best, after my deload. However, I decided to press my luck, and go for some tests, anyway. I also tried out going barefoot with squats, which felt decent. I could tell from the offset that I was pretty off, and not feeling near as good as during my last week of the program. My form for both lifts, particularly the squat felt off, and the unracking for Bench Press just felt terrible. If I had help with the liftoffs, that could have been a big help for the bench, but it is what it is.

Not too bad. I sincerely wish I had better uprights and/or a spotter, as my performance gets severely sabotaged by crap ones I have (loss of energy, tightness, bar colliding with uprights, etc) I really think I could have got that 7th rep under better circumstances.

Top set for Squats felt a bit underwhelming, as I think I misgrooved the reps a bit. and was leaning a bit too far over. Still felt fairly easy, though. Bench went decently. Bench Press has definitely taken the biggest hit from my setbacks, and I have been dealing with some discomfort in my rear shoulder area, that has been making benching harder. Most likely have to get acustomed to the volume and frequency, again. It seems to be getting a tad better every session, however. I'm sure I will overcome it eventually, as I have before. One step at a time ??

My strength is continuing to plummet. I was able to hit 100 KGs for 5 not long ago, and I could barely hit this one for five, with questionable performance. I could have tried for six, but I figured it might be risky, and I should probably dave some energy.
I need to get my mind right. Everything is off. Life is s@#t, everything is wearing down on me: this dreary season/weather, stress is piling up, feeling tired and worn thin all of the time. Caffeine and stimulants aren't working. And on top of all of that, my music source bailed out on me right before my set, because our useless Chrome Book failed me AGAIN (Pro-tip: NEVER buy a chrome book. The most useless, counter-intuitive device EVER), so I had to settle for doing the set without music, and adding in some not garbage copyright free music (hard to find) to add instead.
Song: "Higher Octane" - Vans in Japan
Given how easy I had smashed 160 for 4 (+1) the week before, I thought a little 2.5 kgs bump would not be too big of a deal. Boy, was I wrong! I think it boiled mostly down to feeling tired, and it being a bit of an off-day. Still nabbed a PR, but it was a tough one for sure, haha.
