I'll upload what was in the May box next. June box should be incoming by the time you see the May box. Sorry for the lateness!

This video is just a quick look at Sealion: The Proposed German Invasion of England. It's from World at War magazine #52 (Feb-Mar 2017). Definitely worth the money. The game is excellent and the magazine articles about Sealion are really well done. Plenty of info and diagrams.
The game itself is a bit of a beast. This thing has land, sea and air combat. It's for two players, but I'm playing it solo (playing as both sides). One side will place boats (with combat), then planes, the opposition will react with their planes, you then do aerial combat, and bombings, then land movement and combat, more (night) naval movement, planes return to their bases then you do it all again for the opposition. Phew! And that's all just one turn!
If you want to see a play through of a turn/two, or the whole game, leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.

This quick painting of a bamboo is done using a Japanese sumi-e (ink painting) style.
The ink was made by grinding an ink stick on a stone then adding more water, or more ink, to get the grey tones.

A blue and green bamboo Japanese-style ink painting.
The blue and green sticks are, of course, ink sticks. These are ground, with a little water, on the grinding stone. More water is added to go lighter, more ink to go darker.
