Man, I was not feeling strong at all today. Ques felt off, unracking game was really off, etc. However, my MIND wanted to excel. Despite everything, having 110 percent confidence makes all of the difference. The hardest part was just unracking the bar, but the rep itself went just fine. I just realized that you can't quite see all of the weight on the bar, particularly the 2.5 Kg plate at the end. That is unfortunate. I AIN'T NO LIAR, THOUGH. 120 Kgs MINIMUM is coming this year ??.

I love coffee, and you probably do, as well. There are lots of health, and performance benefits that we can get from the lovely beany beverage; including the interesting results from a recent study I found, that I felt like sharing with you all.

To be honest, I screwed up this pull pretty badly, lol. I just got kind of lost in the moment (or the echo, you could say ?) and adrenaline took over, resulting in my starting position being off/shoulders a bit too far forward, and my pull not being as tight as it should have been, and being a bit more herky jerky, lol. Definitely not as tight/solid as my 200 Kgs pull, right before this. This wouldn't be competition approved, but hey, at the end of the day, this is still a big milestone for me, and I'm happy. Plus, as I mentioned before, I had no prepping/peaking for this, hadn't done any singles training, or lifting heavy raw/strapless sets in around 1-2 months, and I could definitely tell that I was not feeling at my strongest, once the weight started getting heavier. I was thinking of trying this in about a month, after trying to prep myself for it a bit, but I just felt like going for it, lol. Totally spur of the moment. So I see this overall as a big win, and encouraging for my future potential. If I was better prepared, and didn't bork the pull, I probably would have smoked this. So that only means I have more to give, more to work on, and more to PUSH FOR! ??

Other than losing my back positioning after the first rep, and having to recompose myself, this was not too shabby.

This is a clip taken from my recent Paused Deadlift and Tempo Bench Press Session (Block 1: Week 3). This is my first time ever going fairly heavy with Hook-Grip, and it went much better than expected. I'm hoping to keep pushing with this grip style, work out the kinks, and quite possibly, eventually change to Hook-Grip as my main grip for Deadlift. Excited to see where this goes!

I upped the weight on this exercise 2.5 Kgs, because 75 kgs felt super easy last week, while also increasing the volume of each set by one rep. This week, I paused a bit higher off of my chest, as well. Really trying once again to focus on maintaining overall tightness, use a much less pronouned arch, slightly closer grip, and above all, coming to a full, pregnant stop/pause in the mid range of the lift, and then pressing as fast and explosively as possible.

I was thinking of uploading my 107.5 Kgs heavy single before this, as it did move a bit better than last week; but I accidentally deleted it. OOPS. My forearm and tricep tendons were feeling a bit touchy/strained today, so I decided to dig out my elbow sleeves, to try and help alleviate some of the stress. I am not sure if helped all that much, but whatever, haha.
