Gastronomically Good Gaffs: The Jolly Friar 2, Westbury (Leigh Park), BA13, good fish n chips
This episode of Gastronomically Good Gaffs I purchase fish and chips from my current favourite local chippy, the Jolly Friar II in Westbury Leigh, BA13. It is consistently good except for one time I had very dry fish and chips. Usually they are excellent and today was no exception, for a sum of £5.40. The portion size is "huge" and could be shared.

This is my 3rd documented trip to Thailand to tour the vast country, to visit family and meet people. Starting with the school run, we go for street food breakfast noodles. I saw an old soy dog, disabled with a bad back leg and skinny from lack of food and I felt sorry for it. I purchased some chicken and pork but my good samaritan act nearly killed the dog as it got some meat stuck on the top palette. Anyway despite me being the only one concerned about it, the dog survived.
