Trump Had To ‘Literally Poke’ Alina Habba To Remind Her How To Behave In Court
According to "Trump Whisperer" reporter Maggie Haberman, Donald Trump was getting annoyed by Alina Habba's behavior in court and at one point had to "literally poke her", as Haberman put it, to remind her that she was supposed to stand up. Not only does Habba not know how to present a case and make legal arguments, but she also failed at the most basic aspects of being a person sitting in a courtroom. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Maggie Haberman, reporter for the New York Times, commentator on CNN, somebody that has been described as quote the Trump whisperer because of the amount of access she is able to be, uh, uh, get over the years with Donald Trump, the openness with which he speaks to her. So Maggie Haberman is somebody who is basically ingrained in Trump world, somebody that they trust. So when she tells us things, we should believe them. And I'm starting this segment with that preface to tell you this. During a recent segment on CNN Haberman pointed out the fact that during the New York Fraud trial where Alina Haa was sitting right next to Donald Trump, he had to, in her own words, literally poke her to get her to stand up and do things in court. So the trial's going on, right? Things are happening and Trump has to fricking do something. Come on, because his lawyer, Alina Haba, didn't know what to do.

Now here's the thing. There is a certain amount of vagueness that comes with Maggie Berman's statement here. 'cause she says he had to literally poke her to get her to stand up. Now, my question is, and I I hope Maggie Haberman will come out and, and expand upon this a little more, is are you talking about he had to get her to stand up at the times when everybody had to stand up? You know, like all rise and Alina Hobb is still just sitting there like on her phone. What are we saying? Oh God, like, is that what you mean? Does she not understand basic court procedures, like what all rise means? Um, because if so, I think that is a massive problem, and she may wanna reach out to her law school and try to get a refund because clearly she didn't get a good education.

But if you're talking about the fact that he was trying to poke her, to get her to stand up and do an objection or things like that, then that goes more to the fact that she's not a good lawyer. If your client is having to poke and prod you to actually get up and defend them, which is your job, you're being paid to defend them and you are not doing it, then that's a problem with skill. Okay? The, the first one, not knowing when to stand up and when to sit down, that's a problem of knowledge, and that's just sheer stupidity. Or maybe she's just so aloof, she's not paying attention. If it's because you're not objecting, if it's because you're not speaking out, or if it's because you're not making the correct legal argument, then that is an even bigger problem for your, your client there, because they should not be poking you. They should not be nudging you to get up and say something. That's not how this happens. So I guess the bigger

Question I have is why does Trump keep her around then if what Haberman is telling us is true, then Trump understands that she's not a good lawyer. If she were, you wouldn't have had to do that. So why are you keeping her around? She has cost you, in the two cases that she tried, that you lost both those civil trials over half a billion dollars. If you had competent lawyers next to you, that may not have happened, but you didn't. You keep her around, you just threw her a birthday party. So what the hell is going on? Is it because you like to bring her to those UFC fights? You just like to parade her around because Melania can't stand the side of you anymore and you need somebody good looking on your side.
