Minute Memo #249 - 9 M More Coming to Germany
According to Red Ice, Germany’s Development Minister, Gerd Müller says that many more migrants than last year’s 1.1 million will be coming to Germany over the next 4 years. He estimates between 8 and 10 million more will arrive by 2020.
He called for a 10 billion Euro Marshall Plan to rebuild war torn countries such as Iraq, Syria and Libya so the migrants will stay there.
“All states must pay, especially those that receive no refugees,” he warned.
When asked about a cap on the number of migrants – something which Angela Merkel had rejected last week - Müller said:
“We need a reduction. If we have a million again like last year, we cannot successfully integrate them at the same time.”
Heinz Buschkowsky, an MP from the Social Democratic Party agreed with Müller, saying that by 2020, Germany would have between 5 and 10 million immigrants thanks to Merkel’s Open Door policy.
“The situation is irreversible.”
He blasted liberals who stood at train stations holding “refugee welcome” signs.
“This social romanticism - these beautiful speeches - [it] is very difficult to bear.”
I will be on Red Ice Radio next Saturday, January 16.
I’m still reporting from Washington. Good Day.
