3D Sculpting a Hairy Creature with Alpha Brushes
In this video I sculpt a furry or hairy creature just using Alpha brushes. This video was done using #SculptGL but applies to any sculpting software, like Zbrush or Blender etc.
Sculpting hair and fur can be tricky, but with some good alpha brushes you can do a pretty good job fairly quickly! I give tips and pointers along the way, and share my learning from the process.

For this redrawing my sons art video I teamed up with the talented and entertaining Doktorr Rocke Art (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzv2ZEt6vDhtaKHGTDVR5Ow) and we both drew versions of my sons chainsaw arm character. This character had a lot to him! Gas mask, Mace-foot, Chainsaw arm, Tennis-Shoe, Lots of colors, Skull design on his shirt. It was a fun challenge and my son was ecstatic with the results from both artists.

I picked up this storm trooper helmet from the thrift store for just 2$. It was covered in american flag patterns with sharpie markers, and had been thrown to the curb! I couldn't just let a perfectly good trooper bucket waste away like that! I took it home, gave it a nice bath, what felt like 100 coats of spray paint, and then proceeded to draw classic star-wars characters all over it.
