Planet Explorers is a bit like minecraft on an alien planet where you need to survive and thrive after crashing there. It used voxel based graphics for the terrain and items, and you can in fact spend hours designing your own vehicles and weapons, at least once you take care of simply staying alive.
Putting together the modular mun base on the surface, and figuring out where I can go with this now that KSP 0.19 is released.

Betelgeuse stopped dimming in the middle of February, and now some of the first papers studying the anomalous brightness variation are starting to appear. It doesn't look like the star got cooler, there wasn't a giant starspot that lowered the output, and there wasn't a cloud of gas in the way. Instead it seems like dust is likely to be the culprit.
We have some great images by the star using the SPHERE instrument at ESO, taken by Miguel Montargès showing a darker area on the star, this shows that the dimming wasn't a global event.
There's another image from December showing the dust environment further out from the star taken by Pierre Kervell using the VISIR instrument.
However the most interesting evidence is comes from a team who did spectroscopy, trying to figure out if the star had god cooler.
I want to cover this paper by Emily M. Levesque & Philip Massey
"Betelgeuse Just Isn't That Cool: Effective Temperature Alone Cannot Explain the Recent Dimming of Betelgeuse" https://arxiv.org/abs/2002.10463
Because it offers a good explanation of how astronomers have to go about finding the temperature of stars and because Emily wrote an excellent Twitter thread explaining their process

We're looking for an old research institute on the abandoned home planet of the Elowan, the local thrynn don't like it but their ships are no match for mine. However the information from the institute takes us deep into Uhlek territory, a race that operates with a hive mind and arms its warships with Plasma Bolts.
Sadly I lost the save or something and had to go back, then I forgot to record, so we skip forward to a vacation at the city of ancients.

After an emergency landing, a test flight and a lost of communications we were sad to hear that Ingenuity's flying days are over and it will end its mission parked on sand dunes in an ancient riverbed.

Every game with space combat is pretty much completely unrealistic with vehicle designs and mechanics being governed by the rule of cool. Children of a Dead Earth attempts to adhere to realism as much as possible and presents an interesting option for sci-if fans.
