Moldy Mansion With Everything Left Behind
The crazy huge amount of Antique possessions left behind in this lost 1950s era mansion in the woods was mind boggling, our guide(fellow Explorer) LordExplores(link below) did not prepare us for everything we would find here! I know that's a bold first sentence but when you see the video you will see that I had a hard time trying to focus while filming due to the fact there was so much to preserve in the limited time we had here. Every room in this place had surprises and from live ammunition to 1950s Montgomery Wards trophies, vintage photos and jewelry, to wallets and furniture, even a fresh squatters den was discovered in one upstairs room!! The heat and humidity were insane and our masks were an absolute necessity in this extremely moldy old home.
Since there was so much I wanted to show you in this video we tried a different editing style that is faster and more rapid to help show you as much as possible under 20 minutes, please let us know what you like or do not like about this editing experiment.

This trucker motel and gas station was a totally unexpected bonus find while at another Explore and oh man I do love bonus finds, just the best way to end the day. I had no idea what this place was but was supper hyped when the door opened. The motel looked very old and worn like it had not been updated since the 80s or early 90s and it looked as if the diesel /gas station part had been closed at least 15-20 years by the age of the computer equipment.
Sorry about how fast I was with the camera at first since I tend to get too excited and forget to slow down, this is a constant struggle but I guess I wouldn't be having fun if I wasn't excited. I hope you enjoyed this cool place as much as I did and appreciate you joining me to share and preserve another lost place.

This is a 5 minute easy to view section of the Tuesday Night Xcf Chat Live Stream from 24:12 to 29:12 where I walked into the weeds at the waterline to show you the steel door section and mechanism of the Hennepin Canal Lock #30 during the stream. The next highlight will show you more of the door it's steel construction and mechanism while dodging crazed mosquitoes!

Right after Exploring the Abandoned Diner with everything left inside I just had to Explore what was left of the Torched Gas Station next door. The arson from a few months ago had destroyed a huge portion of the gas station and just touched the diner next door but thankfully did not reach the gas pumps, only a storage room littered with totally full Gatorade containers, the coffee bar, and a small news stand area were left after the horrid vandalism. Damage like this is why Explorers try to hide the locations of many of their Explores so vandals do not find them, we deplore this sort of destruction. The gas pumps were a really cool find in as good a shape as they were and the little bubble toys were another but we can't help wishing we could have seen it before the vandalism.

Ever see an Urbex picture you can't forget and always hope you get to see that place for yourself? I saw an amazing picture of a badly decayed old bowling alley about 4 years ago and it has stuck with me ever since and whenever I went out Exploring I always wondered if that would be the day I would find it, on this day I actually walked right into my dream site and ran back to get Shawn.
I know this is not some huge epic Explore but to me the look and feel of this old abandoned bowling alley represented pure Urban Exploration in all it's decayed beauty and goodness, this was my moment of Zen.

Join us at this bowling alley closed for 6 years, a great find since we had scouted this location before with no luck but this time we found a wide open door that was kinda freaky but we decided to Explore it while we had the chance . This is a cool explore we have wanted to bring you for a while and it was so cool to finally see but we got a bit of a surprise we didn't expect. This was our Live Explore of a vintage 1960s backyard apocalypse bunker found out in the country. This shelter was set up for a long stay with a shower and toilet, fresh water tank, sink, canned goods, refrigerator and freezer, ways of generating power and water pressure, someone really put some work into this. The appliances themselves are vintage too which adds to the feel,of this place. This shelter was buried for just over 27 years until being uncovered early this Spring.
