A new Hillary Clinton ad just hit the American airwaves during the U.S. football playoffs this weekend. It knocks Republicans for wanting to – for one thing - bomb ISIS into oblivion. [insert] I’m still reporting from Washington. Good Day.

A new dynamic map shows who is leading the Republican presidential race between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. The map tabulates online votes and then sorts them by a wide variety of variables such as states, congressional districts – even down to zip codes.
Of course, it’s all based on online voting, but it gives you an interesting snapshot of who the country is leaning towards in the most interesting format I’ve ever seen.

I’m still reporting from Washington. Good day
Good Morning, I’m still reporting from Washington.
Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives John Boehner will resign not only his post as Speaker of the House, but his seat in Congress at the end of October.
Mr. Boehner has been under attack by the right wing of the Republican Party as we reported in Still Report #425 on Sept. 7.
Apparently Boehner saw that there was now sufficient votes to oust him, so he is choosing to get out all together. He was criticized for selling his vote on Fast Track Trade legislation for $5.3 million dollars.
He, by his own admission, has long been at the core of the Congressional vote buying scandal – politely known as lobbying – which in recent years has grown completely out of control.

Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on Trump
SR 1226 –Trump Snatches Lead in All Age Groups from Crooked Hillary
Donald Trump is surging farther ahead of Hillary Clinton in the USC Daybreak Poll.
Since the debate on Monday night, Trump has risen by 1.1% to 47.3% and Clinton has fallen one percent to 42.7%. That gives Trump a very healthy 5.6% lead. Notice also that today, Trump has surged above the poll’s “95% confidence interval”. According to the USC pollsters:
“Figures lying outside the gray band mean that we are at least 95% confident that the candidate with the highest percentage will win the popular vote.”
One of the interesting things about the Daybreak poll is it the only one that does not rely only on those who have voted in previous elections. This is what we have been calling the Monster Vote – the unmeasurable vote of those who have rarely – or never – voted previously, but are stepping up this time to defend their country.
But as you dig down into the data of this poll, it’s more good news for Trump. He leads Clinton now in every age group – most significantly in the 18-34 year-old group – the Millennials.
[Insert poll 5]
Their apparent Trump conversion took place on Monday, the 26th – the night of the debate.
My guess would be that Millennials saw Trump as perhaps ill-prepared and inartful, but genuine.
This as opposed to Clinton’s well-rehearsed responses – and apparently even collusion with the moderator, that all added up to a robotic performance with an accent on nasty.
The result – Trump now enjoys a 7.5% lead in that age demographic 45% to 37.5%. But also notice the momentum factor. The momentum factor at this point in the race is THE most important number, and THE most difficult to turn around. Trump is gaining ground and Clinton is plummeting. This momentum factor is apparent in the other age groups as well.
Trump also leads in the 35-64 age group by 3.9% and a 6.7% advantage in the over-65 crowd.
These age subdivisions include men and women and all races.
Trump is blowing Clinton away in the education category. In those with a high school education or less, Trump leads by a whopping 20.3 points – 35 to 55.3% and the momentum is still way in Trump’s favor.
In those with some college, Trump enjoys an 11.6% lead and the momentum looks even better.
Even amongst those with a college degree, where Clinton enjoys a more than 15% advantage, it looks like Trump’s momentum is affecting this group as well, though I’d need a couple more days to confirm a complete reversal.
More surprises when you look at the race by income levels. The poor still favors Clinton by 10 points, but from the momentum perspective, Trump is steadily gaining on her.
Trump enjoys the biggest lead amongst middle-class America to no one’s surprise. Trump enjoys a 16.8% lead – 53.2% to 36.4% lead with great momentum.
Before the debate, Clinton had nearly tied Trump in the $75,000 and over demographic, but after the debate, the momentum is all Trump’s with a 6.7% lead.
The other interesting change numbers are in the male/female demographic. In the last 2 days, Trump is closing the gender gap and now trails Clinton by only 8 points with women, 40 to 48%. But among men, Trump’s lead is HUGE – 19.4 points and headed north.

Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on fake polls.
Hats off to Addison Riddleberger columns for assembling this social media data.
The 2016 elections will be the elections social scientists will look back on as the turning point year – the year where an analysis of social media will prove more predictive than paid polling.
Assuming that is a correct prediction, what does that mean for the future of the Trump-Clinton presidential race. All of these stats are as of Aug. 4th, 2016.
Let’s go to the data – Facebook Likes:
Trump: 10,174,358 – 65.4%
Clinton: 5,385,959 – 34.6%
----
Facebook live stream posts (latest):
Trump: 135,000 likes, 18,167 shares, 1,500,000 views = 1,653,167 total = 83.0%
Clinton: 11,000 likes, 0 shares, 321,000 views = 332,000 total = 17.0%
*note: almost half of Clinton FB posts, the top comments are from Trump supporters. However, top comments on Trump’s page are hardcore Trump supporters only.
----
Twitter :
Trump: 10.6 million followers = 56.7%
Clinton: 8.1 million followers = 43.3%
-----
Youtube Live Stream (averages):
Trump: 30,000 live viewers per stream = 98.4%
Clinton: 500 live viewers per stream = 1.6%
-----
Instagram:
Trump: 2.2 million followers = 55.0%
Clinton: 1.8 million followers = 45.0%
-------
Reddit subscribers:
Trump: 197,696 = 71.3%
Clinton: 24,429 = 8.8%
Hillary for Prison: 55,228 = 19.9%
Bottom line: more than twice as many Reddit users think Clinton should be in jail as should become the next President of the United States.

Good morning, I’m still reporting on the Inauguration.
As we announced a month ago, we are about to start a couple of different livestreaming initiatives. We wanted to get the technology up and running in time for the Inauguration, but that wasn’t to be due to software development.
So, we decided to try it the old-fashioned way, rendering two HD TV images, one full-frame, and the other as a picture-in-picture small frame and it was a really slow process. So we are presenting it today – the day after.
Having grown up in the area and having been to several inaugurations in the past, I knew something about it and definitely knew more about the National Mall area than most commentators, so it full of interesting information that we’d never have a chance to talk about in a short report. This will give you a very good idea what our future shows will be like.

Yesterday about 1 pm, we posted a story that was based off a Fox News story that President Obama might be able to singlehandly appoint a replacement for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia because both the House and Senate are in recess for the President’s Day holiday today.
Although it is true that both houses of Congress are adjourned until next week, what the Fox piece missed - and I failed to catch - was that the U.S. Constitution is very specific in regards to how long a recess appointment may endure:
Article 2, Section 2
“The President shall have power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during the recess of the Senate, by granting commissions which shall expire at the end of their next session.”
Supreme Court judges are appointed for life. So yes, he could appoint a temporary Supreme Court justice, however there would be several downsides to this.
1. Senator Orin Hatch said yesterday that the Senate has tools to prevent this.
2. The other 8 justices on the Supreme Court may simply reject a new temporary member; and
3. This would be seen as merely another Obama power grab and bring on reams of negative publicity raiding down on his languishing administration that would certainly spill over onto Democrats in general.
Bottom line; it’s NOT going to happen, so I took the story down.
Since there is now controversy over the way Judge Scalia died, the removal of the previous video had to be explained.
What is the controversy? According to the Houston Chronicle in a story written by John MacCormack and updated at 2:40 pm yesterday, Feb. 14th, the resort owner, John Poindexter, knocked on Judge Scalia’s door at 8:30 am when he did not appear for breakfast. When Scalia did not answer the door, Poindexter assumed he was still asleep.
Three hours later, Poindexter returned after an outing and, finding that the judge had still not appeared, entered his room:
“We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bedclothes were unwrinkled,” said Poindexter.
Poindexter said the body was cold and the judge had no pulse. He called a local doctor and concluded resuscitation would have been futile.
According to the newspaper report:
“He then contacted federal authorities, at first encountering a series of answering services because he was calling on a weekend.”
Scalia’s death has subsequently been attributed to “natural causes”, specifically a heart attack. However, the death will forever be shrouded in mystery because who - in the midst of a heart attack - would decide:
“Oh, my chest hurts. What I need is to put a pillow over my nose and mouth to restrict my ability to breath.”
[insert CBS photo]
It’s such a silly assumption that even the CBS News report on the death posted at 22:58 last night highlighted in red that an:
“autopsy was not necessary.”
Well, it certainly IS necessary to determine whether the judge died of asphyxiation or a heart attack.
Until that is done by a panel of recognized forensic pathologists, murder conspiracy theories will continue to circulate – and for legitimate reasons.
In addition, there are some great pictures on the Houston Chronicle site, which I will not display on this story because the photos have now been bought by Getty Images and Getty is very hard line about copyright infringement.
So I will post them in my next report.
The most interesting one is an actual picture of the bed and the pillows in the room taken just hours after the Judge’s body was removed to be flown home to Virginia.
I’m still reporting from Washington on this very sad President’s Day, Monday, February 15. Good day.

There are so many good stories today that are non-political, but please forgive us for indulging in this last day where this Republican nomination is any way in doubt.
There just several pieces of video that need to go into the video treasure chest before Indiana is over. Here is the best one:
[insert carly & Ted]
What the heck is going on here? Can anyone explain this to me? Is this like the secret handshake of the International Society of Adulterers? What is with these people? Do they know they have absolutely no chance and just want to do whatever they want?
This is THE FIRST CLIP that comes out of the vault if either of these two characters ever try to resurrect their political fortunes in this country again.
This is easily one of the most bizarre video clips related to politics I’ve ever seen.
Then this clip from Morning Joe’s show on MSNBC. So there are a half-dozen Trump protesters standing across the street – a very respectable distance away from Cruz. So what does the candidate do? He walks across the street to show off his championship Harvard debating skills:
[insert]
So tell us Ted; are you Canadian? Oh, that’s right. You gave up your Canadian citizenship exactly 2 years ago. Well then, are you American?
