Otis Redding's amazing song that has the ability to put you in his shoes by way of the imagery and the feeling of the song. Rob Mullins takes a remarkable cadenza in this song.

An impression of the sounds of Brazil. This song wasn't pre-composed. My producer started recording and I simply started playing this two chord progression.

When I first heard the idea that the Native American Dreamcatcher is a sort of talisman to hang over one's bed whose purpose is to snare bad dreams in it so they don't disturb the sleeper, I was intrigued. I wanted to do a musical version of this. The Dreamcatcher looks like a web but with a pattern woven in. I wanted to create a musical web to catch nightmares and make them go away and so I came up with this song.

One of the revolutionary changes that the Blues System brought about was the idea of playing a minor scale under a major chord progression. Prior to the Blues, if you asked a musician to play a minor scale under a major chord progression, the guy would've rolled his eyes and told you to leave him alone. That is just how radical a change minor-under-major is.
Note: I mentioned Rick Beato's music channel. Do check him out!

"White Christmas" is an Irving Berlin song reminiscing about an old-fashioned Christmas setting, released in 1942. The version sung by Bing Crosby is the world's best-selling single with estimated sales in excess of 50 million copies worldwide. When the figures for other versions of the song are added to Crosby's, sales of the song exceed 100 million.
Accounts vary as to when and where Berlin wrote the song. One story is that he wrote it in 1940, in warm La Quinta, California, while staying at the La Quinta Hotel, a frequent Hollywood retreat also favored by writer-director-producer Frank Capra, although the Arizona Biltmore also claims the song was written there. He often stayed up all night writing. One day he told his secretary, "I want you to take down a song I wrote over the weekend. Not only is it the best song I ever wrote, it's the best song anybody ever wrote."
Special huge thanks to Gene Ferriter who made the higher video quality of this recording and future recordings possible. Thanks, GenO! You're my Maine man!

"Winter Wonderland" is a song written in 1934 by Felix Bernard and lyricist Richard Bernhard Smith. Due to its seasonal theme, it is often regarded as a Christmas song in the Northern Hemisphere. Since its original recording by Richard Himber, it has been covered by over 200 different artists.
The song's lyrics were about a couple's romance during the winter season. A later version of "Winter Wonderland" included a "new children's lyric" that transformed it "from a romantic winter interlude to a seasonal song about playing in the snow." The snowman mentioned in the song's bridge was changed from a minister to a circus clown, and the promises the couple made in the final verse were replaced with lyrics about frolicking. Singers like Johnny Mathis connected both versions of the song, giving "Winter Wonderland" an additional verse and an additional chorus.
