Well, you can look at the box if you want, but I prefer cutting straight to the out of the box part.
Still not flying yet, and haven't done the other maidens I have to do, but this was a present, and I couldn't turn down a nice new shiny plane could I ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgAD3_RUHjE

Hello and welcome to a new series about using your OpenTX radio. In this first part, we'll deal with the pretty simple parts of some initial setup and how to get your SD card populated and installed.
I decided to make a series on OpenTX after some feedback from people saying they found OpenTX difficult to deal with - especially if they'd come from another type of radio. I do also get a lot of questions about how certain things are done, so why not make a bunch of tutorials that explain it all. I have a bunch more planned, but if there's something specific you'd like to see and have me cover, then please pop it in a comment down below and I'll do my best to include it.

This is a cheap and cheerful action camera which will work well for the casual user who's not willing to pay out, or doesn't require higher quality. How does it fare for FPV use ?

There's already been quite a bit said about this quad, some good and some bad. So here's my take on it.
As per the title, this was kindly supplied by Banggood for review, so here's the magic (affiliate) link for them - https://goo.gl/CJjnci
Well, it didn't go quite as planned with a motor burning out. Which was a shame as I thought the handling was starting to come together - but that noise on the FPV camera is off-putting. I will hopefully be returning to this soon to see what I can correct.

In a weird turn up for the books, I find myself accidentally in a drone race... my first one. Let's see how I got on.
You can find Team Wooly Sheep by searching on Facebook, or just going here https://www.facebook.com/groups/teamwoolysheep/ they are a closed group, so you'll need to ask for membership - but they are a friendly and welcoming lot, and you don't even have to be Welsh to join !

Yes - you can make a full functioned OSD for £10 - pretty amazing really.
This video assumes some you've already gone through the first video. So if I mention anything unclear, please take a look at part 1 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmSZAkmvigs
Apologies for some weird sound-issues in the DVR recording. Was all ok in FCP-X, but once rendered into h.264 it seems to have gone a bit odd !

Just a spur of the moment thing, and we didn't do very well because we put the GoPro right next to a little tree ! So I'm sure everyone can do better.
I think bonus points for multiple aircraft in shot, and of course it's just as much fun to fly planes at a camera

It's a tiny 500mm wing with twin motors that can VTOL and transition to forward flight and back again. Will it work, and are my LOS skills up to the task !?
This was kindly provided by Banggood for review, their (affiliate) link is https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-Mirage-E500-500mm-Wingspan-Vertical-Lift-Flight-EPP-FPV-Racer-RC-Airplane-BNF-p-1222621.html?p=E81211714085201408XQ&utm_campaign=714085&utm_content=3312
One or two weird issues in flight when it seemed to occasionally do it's own thing, but I can't help but loving this little plane and transitioning between vertical and horizontal flight modes is fantastically weird ! I'll be back with more once I fit out some FPV gear and see how it performs.
