I've decided to do a giant mother of boomboxes. When completed, this system will house a better system than most cars on the street.
This first video is to document my testing the in line toggle switch for the speakers. The point in this is to give the operator the choice of using all the speakers or a choice of which speaker or speakers will play. Enjoy. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F-S4ZzVHCo
Today I do my unboxing of my Star Wars Smugglers bounty Rogue One edition. Also an update on my Gameboy Zero. Short answer, I fried it...again...

My possibilities for this year are that I may turn my boomboxes into a small part time job. Also if I'm going to get serious about doing that I feel a name change to reflect that possibility is in order. Please comment below on your thoughts

Alright so I'm currently at a stand still for the time being for my DIY videos. So, for the time being, I'm going to start up a weekly vlog on my week, thoughts on what I'm interested in, and the occasional guitar video. I hope you enjoy

*UPDATE* I have created another video better explaining how it was built and with all components installed (as of now) with an estimated cost at the end. Click the link on the video. Also it's not narrow like this one. I figured out how to work my phone.
I took a Pelican 1200 case and turned it to an awesome construction boom box. Not 100% complete as I'm still waiting on parts but once they're in and it's finished I'll upload the finished version of the box.

In this video I explain how to make a power supply using an old USB cable and a 2.1 x 5.5mm adapter to power my raspberry pi screen.
Here's the instructables page I used to figure out how to make said adapter.

Moved everything out of the aluminum box into a pelican 1500 and soldered all the wiring together to make sure it all works properly. Nothing falls apart anymore yay!!!

In this build I used a suitcase toolbox for the housing of this boombox. I used 5x7 DLS 574 speakers and a 100W Lepai amplifier. I also installed 2 analog VU Meters for no other purpose than it looks cool. Hope you enjoy the video.

Sorry for the length of time between my last video and this, I'm still here and still working on projects. As I don't know when I'm going to be moving, I can't order the required parts for builds and can't come by what I need here so it's been nothing but research for a while. But projects are in the works!!!
