I don't think the screen recording adds that much, let me know otherwise if you miss it Exodus: The explanation of Passover, I noticed a shift in the writing starting around here I think when reading it the first time through, it goes from being a baroque/poetic sort of story into a lot more legal requirements, such as all the details of the Passover sacrifice. We'll see if I remembered this correctly. It of course is interspersed with more story, as Moses and Aaron continue carrying out the Lord's will with the people of Israel being troublesome and disobedient. Job 29: Job continues, his tone has changed quite a bit from earlier, this chapter he basically brags about his righteous life and reveals that all this is why he's so confused as to why God has turned his back on him in his destruction... an Ah ha! Moment to follow maybe? Luke 14: Some excellent explanations by Bl. Theophylact again. The parable of the salt especially with the NLT missing badly with it's translation here: the salt being no good *as earth* nor being good *as dung* -- being representations of the fertilized (receiver of God's will/blessings) or the dung (fertilizer) representing the blessings that pour from you as a vessel of God's will. Another deeper read that I feel very blessed to have been touched by. I can see how people could see that as foolish... "Divine blessings as dung??
