It's official. The team will be training all of 2019 to begin filming a Fan Series based off of Daniel Wu's " Into the Badlands ". I plan on recording weekly sessions of not only myself, but others in the group that will be training for the fan series. Time to sharpen up the skills. We will be using steel weaponry, so much heavier than any training weapon we are used too. ( I'm the only HEMA/SCA spar veteran in the group ). There will be zero " freeform " choreography once we start. That being said, we plan on recording " workshop " sessions to get ideas and clean up technique for film. Missing a few members. We are finally gearing up for Episode One. These are just flow drills A few may seem familiar, we use them as " reset " points. The empty hand portion is for developing energy sensitivity. Too much tension can mess the drill up. Most of the time, for now, a person is calling out the drills as we move. (typically the camera man/woman). These are Used to get comfortable with a training partner so it's easier to freeform down the road.
