Karen is an expert on Dark type Pokémon. Umbreon will use Confuse Ray to confuse targets and Mean Look to prevent them from going anywhere. Vileplume will use Stun Spore to paralyze targets and Moonlight to restore its own HP. If Gengar is low on HP, it will use Destiny Bond to cause the target to faint if it does. Murkrow will use Quick Attack as a finishing move to strike first. Houndoom will use Crunch, which has a 20% chance of lowering the target’s Special Defense stat.

After you go through numerous panels in the Rocket Warehouse on Five Island, you’ll reach the tech area where 2 admins are monitoring. As you enter the tech area, you’ll battle the female admin, whom is mentioned to be Ariana. Muk will slow opponents down with Rock Tomb, Minimize to become harder to hit, and Sludge Bomb to poison targets. Arbok will use Iron Tail to lower the Defense stat of targets and make them flinch by using Bite. Vileplume has 2 powder moves that can paralyze or put targets to sleep along with Giga Drain to drain HP from foes. After the battle, the admin will reverse the arrow tiles.

Marshal uses Fighting type Pokémon. Throh will use Storm Throw that will always result in critical hits. Sawk will use Grass Knot on heavy foes although it is not skilled in using special attacks. Mienshao will use Rock Slide to make opponents flinch and U-turn for a hit-and-switch. A move like Psychic would be a good move for this battle.

Marlon is one of the Unova Leaders in the Pokémon World Tournament that can be battled in either the Unova Leaders or World Leaders Tournaments. Marlon is skilled in using Water type Pokémon. Carracosta has a 3-way combo of Shell Smash, Rock Slide, and Aqua Jet. Starmie will use both Reflect and Light Screen to reduce damage for 5 turns respectively. Quagsire will use Counter when hit by a physical attack and Stone Edge for critical hits. Cloyster will use Shell Smash to gain stats but lower defense stats and Ice Shard for first strikes. Wailord holds a Choice Scarf that speeds itself up but can only use a single move. A move like Giga Drain would work fine for this battle.

The Battle Pike is a place where you’ll go through 14 rooms to complete the challenge. During your 2nd consecutive challenge after clearing 14 rooms, you’ll take on Lucy, the leader of the Battle Pike. Seviper can sometimes move first using its Quick Claw and use Swagger to confuse opponents. It will also poison them by using Poison Fang then Giga Drain to steal their HP. Shuckle will use Sandstorm to damage opponents slightly for 5 turns and use Rest with a Chesto Berry when running out of HP. Don’t attack Milotic with special attacks because it can use Mirror Coat if it ever survives one then use Recover to regenerate. After winning, you’ll receive the Silver Luck Symbol and 10 more Battle Points to add with your streak.

There are several items lying around in the Power Plant. You may mistakenly interact with and be attacked by an Electrode by some of the items on the ground. If you do, you’ll be engaged with a battle with one of these. Electrode is on Level 43. The best idea is to paralyze it then draw out some Ultra Balls. Catch it quickly before it uses Selfdestruct.
