1997 (3rd gen) Toyota 4Runner Limited 3.4L 5VZ-FE cranks but won't start. Engine died reversing out of a parking stall, could not get it started again. After some time troubleshooting the idle air control valve started clicking/buzzing. Disconnecting the harness halts the noise, which I'm guessing is the valve continuously opening and closing.

Motor had a cracked magnet and the front plate had come undone. Loose magnetic material removed, front plate JB welded to the motor can. Motor break-in done at 4v in three 20 minute sets to allow cooling time.
Not quite as impressive muzzle flash since there's less gas pushed through.

1997 (3rd gen) Toyota 4Runner Limited 3.4L 5VZ-FE cranks but won't start and IAC valve would click continuously when key was ON. Problem was isolated to defective ECU/ECM, which was repaired. 4Runner starts and idles fine again.
