You will quit under the right (or wrong) circumstances. Maybe it's when it's hard or maybe it's when a catastrophe befalls you. Perhaps the only thing that would cause you to quit is a marital ultimatum. Whatever it is, figure it out now and make a plan for what you would do.
Also, determine what would cause you to reconsider if you're actually supposed to be doing what you're doing. If you're pursuing a dream that you think is altruistic, but is actually selfish, what would it take for you to realize it and go down another road.
Consider both and make a plan.
