During the show I mention the archive of post-apocalyptic audio dramas I set up on Archive.org. You can view that page at https://archive.org/details/PostapocalypticAudioDramas.
As usual, if you enjoy the show, and want to see more, head on over to the Post Apocalyptic Media channel to subscribe.

"The Power of Decision" may be the first (and perhaps the only) U.S. government film depicting the Cold War nightmare of a U.S.-Soviet nuclear conflict. The U.S. Air Force produced it during 1956-1957 at the request of the Strategic Air Command. Unseen for years and made public for the first time by the National Security Archive, the film depicts the U.S. Air Force's implementation of war plan "Quick Strike" in response to a Soviet surprise attack against the United States and European and East Asian allies. By the end of the film, after the Air Force launches a massive bomber-missile "double-punch," millions of Americans, Russians, Europeans, and Japanese are dead.

The granddaddy of all modern zombie films. In George Romero's Night of the Living Dead the dead come back to life and eat the living. Several people barricade themselves inside a rural house in an attempt to survive the night. Outside are hordes of relentless, shambling zombies who can only be killed by a blow to the head.

This is a trailer for a book I read about a year ago, and really enjoyed. The video originally appeared on author Jeffrey Aaron Miller's channel, but I'm reposting it here to help get the book some exposure. I would really like to see a sequel, and the more people that read it, the better the chances are of that happening.
"David Morr runs away from an unhappy home to join a small traveling circus. Here he meets a quirky assortment of characters--the beautiful and mischievous Annabelle, the clever and manipulative Telly, the brutish Karl, the brooding and troubled Gooty, and the enigmatic and possibly psychotic Cakey. Each one of them will test and challenge David, as he struggles to come out of his shell and embrace his new life on the stage.
But the world is full of sickness, and life on the road is fraught with peril. A plague sweeps across the land, turning ordinary people into mindless monsters, transforming friendly audiences into rampaging hordes. Soon, the performers find themselves fighting for their lives against crazed mobs. All the while, the Empire of Tockland is on the rise, the cruel tyrant, Joseph Mattock, conquering one city after another, and the black and silver flag will soon fly over every nation.
Unwittingly, David and his fellow performers find themselves traveling deeper and deeper into the very heart of darkness, where plague and madness and tyranny collide in a brutal struggle for survival."
Shadows of Tockland is available for Kindle, Nook and iTunes. Find out more at www.jeffreyaaronmiller.com/p/shadows-of-tockland.html
