I Stepped on the Scale, and THIS Happened...
As the late professional wrestler Owen Hart used to say: “Enough is enough and it’s time for a change!”
Today, I begin a new Vlog series. The past number of years have not been easy. The myriad of stressors is not something which I will enumerate in detail here, but they have definitely had a negative impact. Over the years, I have struggled with my weight. In 2011, I was at my highest weight: well over 350 pounds. Today after months of anxiety, discouragement, and depression, I finally stepped on my scale again. My heart sank! How could I have let my weight plummet out of control this badly?
Join me on this Vlog series as I talk about the journey of getting back to a healthier place.
Although vulnerability is something which is dangerous in the hands of the wrong people, it is something which I think is crucial in being able to empathize with and to be a help to others, and so I talk very openly about my struggles.
