Neither of these seem to agree with what Luther said, or what the Bible says. The Roman Catholic Church believes Faith + Works = Salvation. The Modern Reformation Believes Faith = Salvation + Works. James 2:17 "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." The original Lutheran Reformation taught that Faith + Repentance = Salvation. Notice how they have removed Repentance, and replaced it with Works? The idea with the Modern Church, is that if you have Faith, and are Saved, then Good Works will be a result. The issue is that they don't want you to accept or follow God's Laws, so there is no standard for Good works. The knowledge of Good and Evil is defined and confirmed by every Word that comes from God Matthew 4:4. The Works of the Catholic Church, that I am against, are confession to a priest, having a Catholic Father (Matthew 23), Praying to Marry, and the Saints (1st Samuel 28), and anything else God did not command us not to do. Jesus said: "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
