COVID-19 is the broad catch all diagnosis and identification of a Syndrome that is observed in the field, which began in Wuhan, China in late 2019. Apparently, COVID-19 is one of the possible results of a Corona Virus named SARS‐CoV‐2. SARS‐CoV‐2 SARS‐CoV‐2 is an identified Corona Virus, that one can actually detect with a medical device kit. COVID-19, by definition a syndrome, ad not a virus, cannot be detected, but is a diagnosis of a syndrome. There are two main testing methods used to Diagnose someone with COVID-19 syndrome: (1) RT-PCR (real‐time reverse transcriptase‐polymerase chain reaction), and (2) CT Scans. CT Scans can see clusters of symptoms in the respiratory system, and subsequently can be Diagnosed with COVID-19, without any evidence of the virus SARS‐CoV‐2. CT Scan Sensitivity in Correct Diagnosis of COVID-19 with SARS‐CoV‐2 CT Scan cannot detect the Virus, but only identify pneumonia and related physical manifestation of disease. Only the RT-PCR test can detect the actual SARS‐CoV‐2 virus. However, the sensitivity (reliability) of the test is not accurate. CT Scans However, additional imaging findings have also been reported including linear, curvilinear or perilobular opacities, consolidation, and diffuse GGO, which can mimic several disease processes including other infections, inhalational exposures, and drug toxicities (12-15).
