Weighed in today on the controversy that managed to explode without my participation whatsoever on Tuesday related to the By What Standard trailer from Founders Ministries. Addressed the trailer, the topics, the 11th commandment, and the critical theory movement that has made such massive inroads into the thinking not only of our society but the church as well. Tackled some “that Pope Francis is quite the guy” topics at the start today, including the sighting of Rick Warren, paddling about in the Tiber River as well. Then took calls on various topics such as inerrancy and Tony Campolo.

Had a little fun at the start of the program with a bit of KJV Only fundamentalism, talked a little bit about the left’s promises in a campaign season, and spent the majority of the time responding to Trent Horne’s “rebuttal” of Jeff Durbin’s sermon on sola scriptura. Was going to get to some more Jay Dyer material on the same subject, but didn’t. Hope to on the next program. Visit the store at https://doctrineandlife.co/

The first 35 minutes or so of today's program focused on the Miss Universe results in the Netherlands, where a highly unattractive dude beat out some absolutely stunning women, all in the service to the dismantling of the West. Then we looked at pure, unhidden, unapologetic propaganda from an ABC affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky. Then we switched over to an analysis of 1 Peter 3:14-15 and the citation of Isaiah 8:12-13 therein, considering issues related to "inter-textuality" and the identification of Jesus as Yahweh incarnate.
Started off talking about the martyrdom of a faithful pastor in Uganda by Islamic attackers, a reminder that the US election is not really the turning point of history. Then we looked at some Twitter news, including the regression of some children in the UK back to wearing diapers in light of the lockdowns (it is due to fear, panic, constantly fanned by the government and media). Then we looked at a clip from Thabiti Anyabwile that is making the rounds regarding the “strong hold of whiteness” and other woke, identity-politics concepts. Finally, gave a brief report on some more development in the coming A&O Debate and Teaching studio. Coming soon!

I really had not expected to get into this as deeply as we did, and this should have been a Radio Free Geneva, but be that as it may...we looked at the new film against "Once Saved, Always Saved," listened to the opening section, talked about the necessary background issues, and then looked at the film's vain attempt to get around Romans 8. Started preaching a few times, but, it was necessary. So, play your downloaded version of the RFG them before listening to this program, it will make you feel better!
