This is a video response to Lorf's Challenge #1 - Axelay which you can see at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSKc5dD0l_8 The idea is simple, the SNES game Axelay on normal difficulty and one life, who can get the highest score. You'll see from the clip that I sadly don't have Axelay on the SNES, so I used my Xbox and the xSnes9x emulator for this one. The result was that I was a bit rubbish.. although the idea was that this was my first playthrough - I did actually have one try at the game first to make sure I understood which buttons did what, and then on the second attempt found out I hadn't hit the record button... so this is actually my 3rd attempt at playing. I have to say when Lorf played it, it did look quite easy, and I thought he was just a bit crap at it, but hats off to him, I found the game pretty tough going... I'll look out for this one to pick up as a proper cart - it's a nice shooter and I'm lacking in them on my SNES. It looks like a GoPro, it's even got it's own version of Superview and can film in 4k. But is it any good ? Obviously, YouTube mangles the footage to an extent that both cameras look awful, but before they were uploaded, they looked a lot better !
