First Try at Fermenting Veggies Except Kimchi! Fail and Win!
Hi Everyone!
This was my first try on fermenting a few different veggies. I do have lots to learn in this area. I am glad we are starting it now before we get to our land and get our garden going as this is just another skill that will help us put up more of our homegrown food.
Please leave some recipes down below in the comment section and any other tips if you are already good at this fermentation thing. Please learn from my mistakes.
I have left the last garlic jar out to ferment longer to see if it will take the heat out like I have heard from other channels. That will have to be in a follow up video for later.
We bought the shade cloth from Home Depot in the garden section.

DIY Beeswax Wraps
These are very easy to make and I recommend for you to make some. They are very useful and it helps to cut down on plastic baggies. I still use some plastic baggies and I reuse the ones we get from the stores but this does help us cut down on the usage of plastic baggies and saran wrap.
Once we get to our land and get our small farm going we plan to try to stop using plastic baggies all together if we can. By then we will have a huge composting pile, recycling pile and we will bring reusable bags to the stores.
Well let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks again for watching!

We have finally gotten to leave AZ. Next video will be us driving to our spot. We will be staying in an RV park near our land for a while until we get our raw land at least camp worthily.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I lead tested my makeup that I bought through Ebay NOT Geek.com. Sorry I had that in my video as I usually buy makeup though the Geek app.
Either way it is a good idea to test makeup, kids toys and other items that come from different countries.
I had paid about $2 for each color so now that I know this is lead free its good to use in our home.
This really was not a "how to" video, it was just to remind people that you should test items from time to time and this one was fun to do with my son. This is my most favorite video so far, it was a lot of fun thanks to my wonderful son.
My son has his own channel "TokenBaesian" that is meant for kids.

Well we finally got out of AZ! Took us 4 days to get there but it was worth it!
We thankfully had help from my wonderful father to drive my truck with the storage trailer while I drove my husbands truck and my husband drove the RV.
We were all so tired and I was lucky to get to film what I could but we are finally near our raw land.
We will be staying in the closest RV park near our land until we can get it up and going to either live on or make it a camping site. We might look for a different spot near South Oregon but for now we will try to make due with what we have. The roads are super bad, getting to our land so it is hard to access it even with the trucks. We are pretty sure we cannot get the RV to the land so once we have a cabin built we can sell the RV.
But first things are first. We need to settle in the RV spot and winterize our RV for the winter then my husband will look for a job here. I have been homeschooling our son so that takes half the day 5 days a week or more. I also work on these videos and I try to keep everyone fed. There is also a lot of dishes, laundry and cleaning chores...so I will stay very busy.

We needed a one day break so my husband went out to a good bye party with his friends and my son and I went swimming, to Peter Piper Pizza to use his free pizza coupon, and then we made candy apples. It was not a healthy eating day but we had fun and we all needed a break. I also wanted to show how much we have gotten done so far.
Should be less then 2 weeks left and we will be on our way to our raw land/local RV park.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks again

Well here is section 2. I had decided to work on both the hood and two side panels below the hood.
We bought the paint from our local "O'Reilly Auto Parts" store.
Hood and 2 Side Panels
2 Coats DPL fillable primer which took 3 and 1/4 cans, $7.49 each so $24.34
3 Coats copper color VHT paint which took 5 cans, $8.99 each so $44.95
2 coats clear seal which took 2 cans, $6.49 each so $12.98
