I just learned this song tonight. There are no tabs anywhere. There's no video of people covering the song. So, I did a lot of learning by ear and guess-work. There are a couple stumbles. So, please be tolerant. I have to spend more time with the solo to fully learn it. But, I got enough of the song down so that I could upload this version of it.
It's a somewhat obscure song from 1989 by Trevor Rabin. Trevor was the guitarist who joined Yes in the early 80's and they created the 90125 album. He was an integral part in bringing Yes back to the masses with such tunes as 'Owner Of A Lonely Heart' - which became the album's biggest hit. He did this solo record in 1993. He's also done the music for movies like 'Con Air' starring Nicolas Cage.
'Something To Hold On To' is from Trevor Rabin's 1989 album "Can't Look Away" and is written by Trevor Rabin. The album was produced by Bob Ezrin.
