When people start podcasts, they tend to come up with clever names. Unfortunately, while those names a fun for the audience, once they've found the podcast, often, they actually keep your audience from finding the podcast to begin with.

My first podcast, "Tech, No Babel," started with the idea that we'd talk tech, but not venture into the territory of making it or ourselves God, avoiding the mistakes of the people in the tower of Babel story in Genesis 11. The thing is that when you hear it, it sounds like "techno babble" which is on purpose, but makes it difficult to tell people about.

I don't know of any other churches who do it this way, but I thought I'd share anyway. Originally, we had a team of four people in the video booth, a producer, a director, a graphics operator, and a VTR operator. With the complexity of some of the productions we'd do, it was nice to separate the responsibilities.
We used two Mac Pros; both had propresenter. One was dedicated to lyrics (called graphics) and the other was dedicated to videos (called VTR for the old production term for a video tape recorder).

You can add songs to propresenter pretty easily, but if it's a song that you'll be using at church a lot or if you'll be singing different arrangements, take the time to group verses and choruses together so that you can make more arrangements.

This is an easy step to overlook, but it's vital if your worship leader either often forgets lyrics and skips around by accident or does so on purpose. By labeling groups of slides by what they are, you can quickly jump from one to another and more importantly, create new arrangements easily.
