Decentralized networks give users much more control over the rules and maintenance of that network. Let's explore how information is confirmed, or mined, and added to the blockchain. But first, we'll examine the differences between centralized and decentralized networks.

In this episode of WTF is, we check in with MyCrypto to see how the various developments and improvements are coming since their fork from MyEtherWallet.
MyCrypto forked from MyEtherWallet during of February of 2018. MEW was created by Kosala Hemachandra and Taylor Monahan in 2015.
MEW was one of the first independent ether wallets and smart contract interfaces, quickly making it one of the most loved wallets of the crypto community. Kosala stayed with MEW while Taylor left to work on MyCrypto citing: “MyEtherWallet LLC was sufficient for the early stages of growth. MyCrypto is designed with next-level scaling in mind from the beginnings...”
The MyCrypto beta is now complete in fulfilling their promise to bring new features to the platform. Earlier this year MyCrypto split off of MyEtherWallet, and we have been waiting to see how the projects differentiate themselves from each other. Now that the beta has been released we can take a look at some of MyCrypto’s new features.

Blockchain A - Z covers all of the important topics you need to know if you're just getting into blockchain! We go letter by letter with each episode defining a specific topic By the end of the series, you'll know your blockchain ABCs!
Distributed ledgers are a type of database that are spread across multiple sites, countries or institutions. Records are stored one after the other in a continuous ledger. Distributed ledger data can be either “permissioned” or “unpermissioned” to control who can view it. Unpermissioned, or decentralized, networks are employed in public blockchains like Bitcoin.

This episode of Blockchain Token - What is it? covers Aelf. Aelf is a platform for cloud based decentralized computing.
Got a task your computer doesn't have the processing power to complete? Then Aelf's distributed supercomputing could be right for you! As opposed to a cloud based server, information is distributed across the network. Instead of one point of attack for malicious actors, they would have to hijack over 50% of the network, making it extremely difficult for the network to be hacked.
Is Aelf the next evolution of super computing? Watch the video to find out!
Hey everyone, this is Sam from Blockchain.wtf and today we're going over Aelf. No not the Will Ferrell movie, or the Aelf on the shelf. No, instead this Aelf is a platform for cloud based decentralized computing. That's a pretty vague statement, so lets break it down for you.
Traditionally, you would conduct all your computing on a laptop. Simple. However, there are some issues that could arise if you are only using a personal computer. I know I've run into a few problems where my computer wasn't up to snuff, I needed more storage or processing power.

This episode of Blockchain Token - Which is it?
AION is a third generation blockchain network designed to solve for scalability, privacy and the interoperability of the many blockchains that exist and will exist.
AION’s network, known as AION-1, will function as a bridge between incompatible blockchain networks. It will follow a hub-and-spoke model, like a computer network, to allow both public and private blockchains to exchange information, logic and value.
