We resume our lyrical forays into the world of rhyme and reason, exploring the importance of the Internets. Robert Foster casts a critical rhyme over Senator Joe (Lie)berman's proposed bill to shut down the world-wide-web in case of [quotation mark] an emergency [/quotation mark].
But - most importantly - we discuss something else which has been leaking even more profusely than a BP oil well. An organisation of ultra-inspiring infectively-courageous cybernauts - aka Wikileaks - has been taking on the Fistagon and giving that slumbering Fourth Estate a much-needed kick in the arse, reminding us how important the internet is as a tool for open information and for holding corrupt government to account.
What is Wikileaks? Who is Julian Assange? And why is it so important that we know what's happening right now? Find out with your charming host, Robert Foster.
**Episode dedicated to Mama Wolf - happy birthday!**
Written by Giordano Nanni; lyrics and performance by Hugo Farrant. Created by Farrant & Nanni in a back-yard studio in suburban Melbourne, on Wurundjeri Land.

"I can't walk around with my shoes on, my natural shoes that I was born with - the 60,000 year old shoes? I can't apparently. I shouldnt; people worry for me. Consider your cultural design people. You're stopping yourself from living."

Before Gangnam Style there was Kony - 2012's first globe-consuming meme, which has highlighted the plight of African child soldiering like never before. But is it really good? Is it really bad? Or is the world really more complex than 'good guys' and 'bad guys'? Whatevers; one thing's for sure, this is momentous: never had a 27-minute video devoid of both cats and boobs ever achieved such virality. Is this a demonstration of the internet's ability to instantly inform and engage tens of millions; and a hopeful sign that there is a willingness among those millions, to engage passionately with something more meaningful? Or does Kony2012 just mark the dawn of a rapacious new era of viral humanitarian marketing? Join your charitable host Robert Foster - and our special guest, General Baxter, direct from AFRICOM - as we delve into the dark heart of the matter.

Written by Giordano & Hugo - Juice Rap News
(Uploaded in 2012). This festive season, while many of us enjoy feeling the bosoms of our families, we at Juice Rap News feel it is important to remember those much much much much less fortunate than us. And in the time honoured tradition of misguided Western pop charity singles, we invited the legendary Irish piece of shit, (Cui) Bono to resurrect the execrable post colonial anthem 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' in which he featured during the 1980's.
By Giordano & Hugo; performed by Giordano; vocals by Damian Tapley and Luke Ferris from ME (the original ungoogleables). This originally formed part of the 7th episode of Juice Rap News, '#Revolution Spreads to America' (which we still refer to in hush tones as 'the epic-sode'). See you in the "new" year!

After a bit of a hiatus, there’s going to be some new content coming. The format might change, but when the time comes, you can be sure it’s going to have many of the qualities which you enjoyed about the content, satire and philosophies of Juice Rap News.
In the meantime, I (Giordano) am curious to know: what type of content would you like to see here on the Juice Media? I will be relying also on YOUR input to guide me as I go about planning the next phase of the Juice Media. So please leave your comments and thoughts below.
Regards & respect
