For those loveline fans during the peak of the show's popularity during the Adam Carolla / Dr. Drew era. These shows came from tape transfers and made into mp3 format. I did not record or transfer any of these shows, so when there's missing audio and the conversation suddenly ends in the middle of something interesting on occasion isn't my fault. Nothing I can do about it, either.
**2000-07-04 is a Best of Loveline show which will be saved for the end.. if we ever get there.
(0:00:00) 01. 2000-07-05: This is a no guest show and is a brand new addition to the archive. It's also the debut of a new show opening which catches the hosts by surprise. Adam has some gas in this one, but Drew fires back in a major way. Enjoy another gas night in Loveline history which really happens in the second half of the show. Adam farts Drew out of the room, then Drew returns the favor. The gas war has begun and believe me, it's just getting started. Also, a drop origin for Adam's "I can't believe I'm being offended by the smell of someone else's fart!!" drop.
(1:35:03) 02. 2000-07-06: The guest is Carmen Electra and has no new source tape. Adam does a little of that creepy thing he does with a beautiful woman in the studio, but Carmen seamlessly plays along and doesn't seem the least bit bothered by it which leads to some funny dialogue. Carmen is a solid guest overall and leaves halfway through making a Lightning Round possible at the end and Adam is really hyped up for this one and gets kinda silly at times. Another great Lightning Round.
(3:09:53) 03. 2000-07-09: This is a no guest show and is incomplete coming in at a mere 22 minutes. It's all we have and no new source tape again as well.
(3:31:51) 04. 2000-07-10: This is a no guest show and is a brand new addition to the archive. Also, another drop origin this time for Drew's "I'm a rapist!" drop. The two hosts are reminded of Adam's genital wart exam and it gets fired up again. It's coming soon, folks! Drew tries to get Ann to get the equipment and Adam yells at him. It also seems to be one of the first ever mentions of Minka (aka the #1 asian big boob queen) by Adam which turns into a huge thing by the end of the year.
While many LL fans seem to think this was the very first time Minka was brought up, the first drop of Adam's "I'm number one asian big boob queen" came from Anderson and you can tell because Adam says "that's right" after playing that drop. We do not have the show that this drop originated from, so this is NOT the first time Adam talks about Minka, but it is the first time among the shows currently available in the archive. There are some Minka drop origins here from Adam, though.
Adam goes on a Hotels rant and "How Dare You!" goes to another level. Anderson gets on Adam's nerves with the violin drop again. I always love it when Anderson screws with Adam. This is another outstanding show. I think I forgot to record the origin for Adam's "My god I'm being raped heeellp!" drop as it is played in this one seamlessly by Anderson. I was sure I heard the show with the origin in it, but I guess I forgot to record it here. Oh well.

(0:00:00) 01. 2002-08-19: The guest is Coldplay. One of the band members is super engaged in the show and gets on well with Adam. This is actually a pretty funny show overall.
(1:28:47) 02. 2002-08-20: The guest is Carmen Electra with "Various rants" as a supplementary title.
(3:04:46) 03. 2002-08-21: The guest is Tom Arnold and contains perhaps the funniest Loveline moment of all time. For those of you that may not know, I won't spoil it by giving a hint. You'll know it when you hear it and it's funnier if you're not expecting it. This is also Tom's last appearance during the Adam era.

(0:00:00) 01. 1999-03-03: This is a no guest show and is missing the closing break. The guys complain about the infamous airplane turbulence PSA which leads into a rant. Also, some rants including child proof lids on bottles and he gets pissed at a caller or two. This is another really good show.
(1:37:40) 02. 1999-03-04: The guest is Rob Schneider and is a newly completed show. Rob had been scheduled to be on the show four or five times prior and had cancelled every time and though he actually does make it in for this one and turns out to be a very good guest, he does show up late. He's a pretty good guest and there's some good calls as well, so very good show!
(3:13:30) 03. 1999-03-07: The guest is Henry Rollins and is an incomplete show at just under 50 minutes. The end lands right in the middle of a conversation and I just faded it out there. The remaining half of this show remains lost to time. This is a very old recording from a tape with degraded sound quality which is noticeable, but not terrible. Drew is in Seattle and there's a delay and echo issue early on which can be heard on the air. Anyway, Henry is a decent guest making for a solid 50 minutes.
(4:02:52) 04. 1999-03-08: The guest is the Kottonmouth Kings. Drew is still in Seattle with the same delay as the previous show which gets both Adam and Drew on Mike's ass resulting in some amusing back and forth. This is declared a "weird show" by the two hosts and it certainly is one of those shows. The KK's are OK guests. They are kind of annoying at times, but overall not too bad and worth the listen.
(5:34:22) 05. 1999-03-09: The guest is Sponge which now has the previously missing 20 minutes or so of the beginning of the show now restored making it now a complete show. Drew is still in Seattle and complains about the crappy coffee in the studio he's in. He goes on to express his displeasure with the Kottonmouth Kings last night.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-10-05: The guest is Local H. The first 30 minutes or so is noticably lower quality than the rest of the show, but it sounds alright especially once the volume is reduced. The band don't say a whole lot, but that just means this is more like a no guest show overall.
(1:29:11) 02. 1998-10-06: The guest is Craig Shoemaker. Adam tells his bed wetting story once again in this episode towards the very end and Craig is more involved in the show than most guests with a lot of funny/interesting discussion throughout. Adam and Craig go well together, so this is a solid no guest show.
(3:06:22) 03. 1998-10-07: The guest is Chris Kattan and is incomplete at only 45 minutes. This show has never been recovered, so the only clips available are those that were hijacked from the "Best of" compilation shows. This also means that the order of these segments may or may not be correct as there's really no way to tell, but here it is anyway.
(3:51:14) 04. 1998-10-08: The guest is Andy Dick. Him and his little band play a few songs which I left in because they aren't bad and are even entertaining. During the second song, a couple F bombs are dropped from him yelling at the band and hitting them during the song for messing up. During the third song, a loud S bomb flies out over the air. Always hilarious when that happens and as if that wasn't enough, an F bomb goes flying out over the air later in the same song. Even later in the same song, a few more F and S bombs fly out over the air only it sounds like Mike kind of catches them this time though you can still tell what he's saying. Later on, a "suck my dick" goes flying over the air as well followed by another clear F bomb. This song goes on for awhile as you may guess. More "bombs" go out over the course of the rest of the song. Keep in mind this is going out live on national radio. It's fucking hilarious. Take that, society!
Anyway, Andy is fucking nuts, but because he's not in the same room as I am, it's entertaining. It's really not that bad, though. Even the songs are a lot better than what you might think you're going to hear. This is an outstanding no guest show!

(0:00:00) 01. 2003-05-07: The guest is Aisha Tyler.
(1:35:15) 02. 2003-05-08: This is a no guest show.
(3:11:26) 03. 2003-05-11: The guest is Hayley Arp with Dr. Bruce in for Drew.

(0:00:00) 01. 2003-09-08: This is a no guest show with "Smoke detector" as a supp title. Yep, another smoke detector and this call ends up having two things beeping by the end.
(1:33:21) 02. 2003-09-09: This is a no guest show.
(3:05:36) 03. 2003-09-10: The guest is Dr. Gary Alter. This guy is wildly unpopular today as he does a ton of transgender surgeries including on children as far as I can tell.

0:00:00 01. 2004-07-15: The guest is Mimi Rogers. This is a pretty fun show, Mimi is great though she does leave a few segments before the end.
1:36:41 02. 2004-07-18: The guest is Velvet Revolver.
3:04:40 03. 2004-07-19: The guest is Ozomatli.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-04-19: The guest is Darrell Hammond. This show has existed for a very long time and is one of the most memorable shows in Loveline history due to one of the darkest stories ever from a guest on the show when he talks about his experience in a jail in the Bahamas. I wish he would have gone more into the stuff he saw there, but oh well. He also delves a bit into his past troubles; Truly a classic show. It doesn't get much better than this and on top of that, Darrell does a lot of impressions before the show is over with.
(1:34:46) 02. 1998-05-20: This is a no guest show that is missing about 8-10 minutes, but otherwise intact. This is one of the better no guest shows in recent memory with lots of laugh out loud moments in the first segment alone.
(3:03:13) 03. 1998-05-21: This is another no guest show and is missing the beginning. A Culver City officer stops by, but not for Adam this time though he does go off a bit on red arrows and the cops as a result despite the cops being there for Drew. Great overall show!

(0:00:00) 01. 2001-03-29: This is a no guest show and it's one of those really, really great no guest shows. It starts off great right with the first call and sustained all the way to the end. A bumper is played for Ron Jeremy at some point and Drew goes on about how nice a guy he is. Unsurprisingly, Ron is now under fire with sexual assault allegations from dozens of women who claimed he grabbed and groped them without permission at various events through the years. It's kinda weird because I'd always just assumed that's the kind of stuff that was typical of those events, but I've never been a big porn guy. Oh well, just thought it was worth a note. There's even a fart.
(1:35:02) 02. 2001-04-01: The guests are Emanuel Sferios and Dr. Charles Grob. This show is about ecstasy and it isn't as negatively biased as I thought it would be. It's an interesting show.
(3:11:29) 03. 2001-04-02: The guest is Andy Dick and he shows up a little late. When he finally gets there, it's very entertaining as you'd expect it to be. Anderson breaks out some obscure Adam drops. I don't get Adam and Andy's "mom" phobia at all. Also, a drop origin for, well you'll know it when it happens.

(0:00:00) 01. 1998-09-30: The guest is Royal Crown Revue and the very beginning is missing. This is the first time I've heard Adam go ballistic about McGruff the Crime Dog and a caller asks Adam what he has against guys who work around metal which he goes into in depth. In the last segment of the show, they get into PSA's and go off on that.
(1:30:50) 02. 1998-10-01: This is a no guest show and is missing the beginning, but picks up right in the middle of a heavy calls with a disturbing first sentence. Adam gets into ripping his favorite song "Maneater" and also rips on several Don Henley songs and Huey Lewis. I don't think these songs are as horrible as Adam does as I think they are catchy songs, but not great songs.
On Maneater (Wiki): John Oates has explained that while it is natural to assume the lyrics are about a woman, the song actually was originally written "about NYC in the ’80s. It's about greed, avarice, and spoiled riches. But we have it in the setting of a girl because it's more relatable. It's something that people can understand. That's what we do all of the time"
(3:09:27) 03. 1998-10-04: The guest is Cypress Hill. This is an overall great show as the guys are solid guests though it's not as good as their other appearances were/would be. Still, a solid listen.
