I Hate Mornings And I Can Work Only In The Evening... Is It Good?
Setting and maintaining a good working schedule is always a hard thing to do. People usually work during the day and sleep by the night. This is our social and biological cycle.
But, what should you do if you're a night person? Is it productive to work in the evening? Should you change your biological time?

What Is Agile Software Development?
So, let's talk about programming! If you're inside the programming (which is not the same as coding lol) you've probably heard about "Agile Software Development", right?
But, what the heck is agile software development? Well, this is exactly what I'm going to talk about in this video.
Basically, agile software development describes a set of principles for programming and software development that has as core principles collaborative effort and organization between cross-functional teams. Developing an agile project means building something that promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery and continuous improvement, that encourages rapid and flexible response to change. Scrum is a good example of such agile methodology.
So, are you completely lost when it comes to agile software development? Watch this video and find out!

Why Is Life So Unfair?
Some people think life is unfair. I've heard this several times before, especially when it comes to... ME. You know, I've heard people complaining about my achievements many times before.
"Why is this John guy so successful? How can he earn so much money? WHY CAN'T THIS BE ME?"
Well... While I could start telling you all the reasons why this is true, I wanted to address this thing that so many people think. Is life really unfair? Or, is there something you're missing when it comes to achieving success in life?

I HATE ADVERTISEMENTS!
Nothing against Tai Lopez, but I've seen enough of his ads--I know how big his swimming pool is.
Simple Programmer is all about learning and growing in all areas of your life.
Simple Programmer is about overcoming your fears and doing and becoming what you never thought was possible.
Simple Programmer is about becoming better, stronger, smarter... wiser.
I love making videos.
I love sharing what I am learning.
I want to see you grow.
I want to see you succeed.
I want to help you tackle the difficult issues in life that other people are too uncomfortable to talk about.
I'm already creating 2+ videos a day, writing blog posts and books, recording podcasts and courses, and sharing every bit of wisdom that I come across in my daily life as a programmer turned entrepreneur.
BUT I HATE ADVERTISEMENTS!
And I'm sure you do to.
That is why I am asking for your help.
Putting out multiple YouTube videos a day isn't exactly cheap.
A ton of work goes into shooting videos, hiring videographers (for the professionally shot ones), editing videos, creating thumbnails, etc...
The list goes on and on.
Right now, the advertising on the channel only brings in less than $500 a month, but the costs for producing the videos each month are around $1,500 - $2,000.
And that is not even counting me time--which I don't count, because I love doing these videos.
So, we are at a negative run rate of around -$1,500 a month.
Plus, we are showing Ads--which are annoying.
Here is what I'd like to do:
I'd like to get rid of all Ads on the Simple Programmer YouTube channel.
But in order to do that, I need some other way to cover the production costs of doing these videos and hopefully make this endeavor profitable. (Which will enable me to do even more with this channel and produce more great content.)
That is where you come in.
I'll, of course, continue to make these videos for free--like I said, it's what I love doing--but, if you are enjoying the videos and get value out of them and you'd like to have even better videos with NO ADVERTISEMENTS you have to wait for before the video begins, I would greatly appreciate it if you could pledge a small amount per month to help me keep this thing running and make the experience better for everyone.
Once we hit $2,000 a month in pledges--a pretty easy goal considering there are around 27,000 subscribers--I'll REMOVE ALL ADS FROM ALL VIDEOS!
At the average pledge of just $10 a month, it will only take 200 out of 27.000 subscribers to get us to the goal.
As a special thank you for your support, I'll be including lots of special perks for those of you that pledge $10 or more.
And even if you can only pledge $1 or $5 a month, it will help and be greatly appreciated.
I would love to make this channel supported by the community rather than advertisers.
Just click the pledge button now and claim your perks.

Why You Should Never Say "No" To Job Opportunities
So, today I wanted to present a very important, and powerful concept that has the opportunity to literally change your career. And I want to talk about closets.
I've talked with 5 different companies to get my closet done. One of these companies told me that they were too busy to take the job and they just rejected the job. And it got me thinking.
This company has just lost a big opportunity to them. And in this video, I explain why it is so important for you to never say "no" to job opportunities, how I raised my hourly rate and how you have nothing to lose when you do that.

Information Technology (IT): What Is?
When I first received this question I must confess I thought it was a really silly question... C'mon, how in the earth would someone not know what IT is?
However, after reading the question, I became aware that it could really help a lot of people because I see a lot of developers making some confusion with this.
Basically, the most basic definition for IT is:
"Set of tools, processes, and methodologies (such as coding/programming, data communications, data conversion, storage and retrieval, systems analysis and design, systems control) and associated equipment employed to collect, process, and present information. In broad terms, IT also includes office automation, multimedia, and telecommunications."
(Source: http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/information-technology-IT.html)
I find this definition to be exclusive and I must tell you why...
