Hello peeps on YouTube,
This obviously didn't come out on Friday but we got her done... Happy Mother's Day.
Not sure if I'll be back next week because I need to glue my nose to the keyboard and edit the class until I can't see straight.
Thank you for the support and be sure to like/comment/download/subscribe/share/save in your effort to defeat the almighty Algo.

I'm working my way through remodeling all my grow rooms and I'd like to bring you along for the last one. I'm guessing the series will cover the following topics:
-Equipment removal and demo
-Wall prep
-Painting
-FRP installation
-Floor to wall sealant
-Running a new electrical circuit
-Installing a new tri-zone mini-split A/C
-Acid washing the concrete floor
Hopefully you're interested and you'll follow along. Comment as much as you'd like on what I'm doing wrong or what you'd like to see more of.
Share it with your friends, your enemies and a few random strangers. You see, my views have gone to shit since I stopped posting videos regularly and that hurts my feelings. YouTube is not happy with me. I've become an under-performing employee and they take my views. Let's be honest, I'll never get paid in money; I only get paid in views and they cut my pay.
I'm gonna start filming the next one tomorrow morning. My goal is to get the electrical run from the panel to the A/C disconnect. Once I get that done, I'll start on prepping the walls and getting ready to paint.

This one's a little different folks... I had a burden that I needed to get off my chest and it spawned another podcast that I've conveniently named the "We're So Fuckedcast"
I hope you are able to enjoy it for the few hours I anticipate it staying up on the platform. And if I'm able there's a half a dozen other topics I'm gonna dig into. If you are patiently waiting for grow advice... this is not the place. The website will be that place and I'm about to drop some serious paper on getting that up to speed.
In the mean time... enjoy the rants!

I found this video cleaning up my desktop and forgot I did it. Figured I'd throw it up. Maybe it'll help a person or two with some ideas. If not, well at least the song is good.
Sorry about the verticality... I originally made it for IG but Zuck would have no part of it. So here ya go.

Get on this email list even if you are already signed up. My original email list is with a different service and I need to consolidate. Unless you're scared because you think I'll send you too many emails or steal your info. You have nothing to worry about there... I'm too lazy.
This is a little mess around video that I put up. I'm just exploring different ways to make content, always thinking back to when I first started and what I wish I could have watched as a new grower. Here's me pruning my plants, listening to music, enjoying the game and living the dream.
If you're not having fun working on plants, then you probably shouldn't do it.
See you on the next one ✌️

This video's for soil geeks who believe the better the soil the better the crop. (I apologize for the scratching on the audio. I forgot to take off my headphones and they rubbed on the mic.)
The trial question I'm looking to answer is: What base potting soil is best for my setup?
I geek out on soil and have for awhile. I, like many others I feel, are in pursuit of the "Ideal Potting Soil" or, as it is commonly called, "Super Soil."
I've developed hundreds of recipes over the years and they are all made up of three main parts:
1) Base - this is the structure of the medium. Common materials used are Peat Moss, Coco coir, Perlite, Pumice, Vermiculite, etc.
2) OM - Organic Matter - Common materials used are Earthworm Castings, Compost, Forest Compost, etc.
3) Amendment - Food and minerals. Common materials used are minerals such as Dolomite lime, Azomite, Sulfate of Potash, as well as plant or animal based foods such as Alfalfa meal, Bone meal, and many commercial soils use synthetic salts such as Ammonium Nitrate, Potassium Phosphate, etc.
I've experimented with probably thousands of combinations of all three of the above groups. What I've learned is that the possibilities are endless. Potting Soil creation has become my main focus that I believe maximizes my quality. There's a certain joy in knowing that if you can create an ideal or near ideal soil, that your results cannot be matched.
In this video I'm running a trial Isolating different bases. Basically, I'll be running half the room with straight 707 from Root Organics vs a 50/50 blend of 707 and ProMix HP.
Feel free to ask any questions or tell me where you're at in your journey as a soil maker.

(The 7 deadly sins against the almighty Algo)
I barely got this one done in time but it's a good one. I messed up the settings so the upload failed... had to go at it again. Sorry for the delay. Remember this rule in video: Always check you settings.
These salves that I've been making with this updated recipe are ridiculously effective. This is the recipe I used this time:
20g high THC extract (MAC)
20g high CBD extract (Harle Tsu)
500ml Coconut oil
100ml Hemp seed oil
60ml Vitamin E oil
60ml Emu oil
4oz Beeswax pastilles
30ml Frankincense (20%)
30ml Myrrh (20%)
30ml Tee Tree oil (100%)
-Infuse extracts into coconut oil @240℉ for 30min in sauce pan
-Warm a double boiler and add 100ml Hemp seed oil, VitaminE oil, Emu oil
-Bring double boiler to 180℉ and add Cannabis infused coconut oil from sauce pan
-Melt down beeswax pastilles in pan and add to double boiler
-Add all essential oils, stir and let cook @ 180℉ for 30min
- fills ten - 4oz mason jars

Most growers focus on above canopy airflow. This video will explain the importance of below canopy airflow and how to create it.
