Hey guys, what's going on, Mogawty here. In this video, I'll tell you how to get golden guns. Most of you know how to get them, but let's see just how long it would take.
This is something I was curious about so I decided to put my findings into a video.
Once you have 3000 competitive points, you can go into the shop and purchase your choice of a golden gun or weapon.
To get 3000 points, you need to either win 300 times, draw 1000 times, or a combination of both.
No matter how many times you lose, you won't get closer to golden guns.
If we assume you will win 40% of your matches, lose 40% of your matches, and tie 20% of your matches, this would come out to 261 wins, giving you 2610 points, 261 losses, giving you 0 points, and 130 ties, which gives you 390 points. All together, 3000 points.
And that is a total of 652 matches.
After looking at many of my competitive matches, I've found the average length is around 19 minutes, from the time the game starts searching for a match, to the time it's searching for the next match.
Using all of the above as a basis, you would need 12,388 minutes to get a golden weapon, which is about 206.5 hours. The closest thing I could find to official information said Season 2 will last 75 days, or 2.5 months. Assuming that, you would need to play about 2 hours and 45 minutes everyday during the season, and 5.5 hours if you want to maximise your competitive points. Then of course we have the end of season rewards. Assuming you're in platinum at the end of the season, you will earn 800 competitive points, and all numbers thus far, with the exception of the 5.5 hours daily for max points, are reduced by 26.6%.
Let's say you're an exceptional player, winning 70% of the time, losing 20% of the time, and drawing 10% of the time, and ending up in master. Master gives you 2000 points at the end of the season, but we'll calculate that later. Just getting points from playing, it would be about 288 wins, 80 losses, and 40 ties.
Which would come to 408 matches, lasting 7,752 minutes, 129.2 hours, or 1 hour and 40 minutes everyday for the season, closer to 3.5 hours daily for the max competitive points. If you do make it to master and just want enough points for one golden gun, you just need to earn 1000 points, so taking all the above into consideration, it would only take 2,584 minutes, 43 hours, or a little over half an hour of playing daily, but since matches average 19 minutes, you would probably need to get 20 minutes in one day, 40 in the next, etc...
So, there it is. I don't know anymore why I did this. But if you want to know yourself, just do the calculations taking your average wins, losses, and ties. I'm personally closer to the first example, so I should hopefully get my first golden weapon at the end of the season, probably not sooner.
Anyway, thanks for watching I guess. Not sure if anyone stayed until this point, but if you did uh... you get nothing except a thanks. Sorry. But if you happen to leave a like, you will recieve 7 thousand keemstar bobbleheads delived within 5 seconds to your front door. They all come equipped with costamizable voice lines, including such classics as "Alex is a great person," I'm fast as f**k boi," and a viewer favorite "Our first story is huge." Like in the next 3 seconds to recive a bonus Scarce bobblehead which just screams "Double upload."
Awkward outro.
