Here's an interview with Tom Happ, creator of the games Axiom Verge 1 & 2. Both are some of my favorite Metroidvania games and it was an honor to be able to interview the creator! We discussed a bit about his background and went in deep with some questions about the games - If you're a fan of the series, or just want to hear from the perspective of an accomplished indie game developer, definitely give this a listen! The interview is also available as an audio-only podcast on all major services: https://www.retrorgb.com/interview-with-axiom-verge-creator-tom-happ.html

I recently did a podcast / interview with St1ka over Skype, to discuss his videos, new games on old consoles and some of the drama involved in all of that. This is much more of a "conversation with a friend" than a formal "interview", however I hope people still enjoy listening. Also, we forgot to discuss on-camera why he shaved his beard. Fodder for next time I guess!
You can support St1ka by following him on YouTube and Twitter. If you like his work, please consider signing up for his Patreon as well:

This is part 2 of my playthrough of Axiom Verge for the Wii U that picks up right after I died in part 1. I'm two hours in and still love it, however the boss battle in this one was kinda boring. I'll keep doing these as I have time (trying for an hour a day) until I either beat it, or get bored of it and give up :) This was originally a livestream, but I edited the beginning and re-uploaded to remove the feedback at the beginning (sorry about that!). Also, I'm REALLY sorry for the audio pops in the video! I'll get it fixed for next time.
