HETCH HETCHY TO RANCHERIA FALLS

This is our yearly man trip. This year, we went for three days, two nights to enjoy and rest a little more than in the past years. We pick and choose who we want to go so it's an invite only trip. Don't get offended. It's nothing personal.

We pack food and camping supplies to last us the three days. There is no bathroom and there is no cell signal. If you're hurt, you'll have to be rescued by the rangers on horses or helicoptered out.

We pack about 30-50lbs in our backpacks. This consists of clothing, food, and camping equipment. Water is essential so one or two of us have water filters. I drank the water straight out of the raging waterfall before and it's so natural and so good. It's better than the bottled water you buy at the store.

We go there to enjoy ourselves and just enjoy nature. It's a very hard trail to hike in.
