Totally new mix in this one with a heavy focus on the orchestral crap. As a result it doesn't quite "punch" as hard as I wanted it to, but there are like 30 channels in this thing all doing their own thing which made it very, very difficult to get everything to sit right in the mix. Although the ending feels a tad underdeveloped and the solo could use a bit more variation and better transitions, I really don't want to postpone this for another week for those minor blemishes, so I'm going to go ahead and release it now and hope the following week ends up being less brutal. All that said, I'm actually pretty happy with the result here as this has been one of the most difficult mixes I've done so far.
I'm gonna be honest, I thought V1 was bad until I tried to rearrange it, and realised it had a lot of charm, despite the fact that it's pretty corny as well. I'm still not quite sure it lives up to the same level as V1, but it's definitely a lot cleaner (how ironic lmao), and more consistent in the style I've established.
A playthrough of LJN's 1993 license-based platformer for the NES, Alien³.
Alien³ on the NES, like every other Alien³ game, doesn't follow the movie particularly closely. Of
