Check out this fun cardio workout focused on your abs and incorporating jump rope exercises.
I have included different jump rope styles in this workout but if you find them too complicated just stick to the basics.
If basic jump rope is also too difficult, replace it with jumping jacks. The main advantage of doing the jump rope version is that it better engages the core muscles.
By the way, skipping rope is one of the best cardio exercises you can do as it improves concentration, coordination and also burns a lot of fat.
The workout includes only standing abs, so no mat is needed. Sweat, have fun and let me know how it went!
Get your legs ready for a 20 minutes burning workout followed by a nice streching session. The exercises target all the main muscle groups in yor legs: quads, hamstrings, inner thighs, glutes and calves.
Make sure you follow-up on the wntire workout, including the stretching part. This is the best way to maintain flexibility and help your body recover faster.
There are no repeats in this routine and no jumps either (so they can be done in the apartment without enraging your neighbours ?)

This 14 minute workout video is a great example of how to combine dynamic exercises with isometrics (also known as static holds). Basically, it's a 2 in 1 combo that you can perform at home, without the need of equipment. You don't need a lot of space either, as this is mainly a floor workout.
Isometric exercises are great when joint injuries might prevent you from doing other type of work. They help you maintain muscle strength and are a very safe type of fitness routine because they give you full control on the difficulty and use only your body-weight.
The only downside is that they exercise a single body position at a time. That is why, I find that a combination of static positions and dynamic, low impact movements is best.
The timings are: 30 seconds exercise followed by 20 seconds static hold and 10 seconds of rest between reps.

This intense kettlebell workout focuses on the lower body and also incorporates some balance exercises. It will definetly make your legs burn.
The workout intensity increases gradually to allow for a natural warm-up but I also recommend a proper 10 minute warm-up before.
Choose the kettlebell weight according to your fitness level. If you don't have a kettlebell you may replace it with a dumbell or even do the exercises without any weight for a more beginner friendly version of the workout.
Remember: your body needs a strong foundation, so don't skip on your leg day.
