Leanne & Jason Wedding Highlights - Fujifilm X-T2 and Fujifilm X-T20 on Zhiyun Crane 2.
We were a little worried waking up and seeing the weather at the morning of this wedding, however we were super lucky not to get a single drop of rain and the clouds created such a awesome moody shooting environment.
Leanne and Jason got married in the beautiful town of Knysna, this beautiful Garden Route coastal town offers natural beauty and amazing shooting locations. This was such a chilled beautiful wedding that allowed us to focus on the couple and being intimate. We love beach weddings every now and then and getting those great wedding shots of couples on the beach. The only stress we had on this wedding was the seagulls attacking our Dji Mavic Pro drone.
Entire wedding shot on my Fujifilm X-T2 as main camera and Fujifilm Xt20 and second. The Xt2 was mounted on the Zhiyun Tech Crane 2 as the camera does not have IBIS. (In Body stabilization) The new Fujifilm X-H1 does have built in ISIS and I can't wait to shoot with the new X-H1 .
My normal shooting profile is Classic Chrome, its what you see here straight out of camera with no color grading or adjustments. I just love the look of the Classic Chrome that I don't edit it at all.
I shoot at 60fps as I like to slow everything down for that dramatic and cinematic effect.
Fujifilm South Africa gave me and some other X-Photographers the new Fujifilm X-T4 to play with for a few hours. Some of the guys wanted to check out a new skatepark in Cape Town, so I decided it was a great time to test the Fujifilm X-T4's new 240fps shooting mode. However, I shot it in 200fps as I prefer to edit in 25fps later.
Some of the shots were captured in Classic Chrome and some were captured in the Fujifilm X-T4 new Bleached Eterna that is pretty awesome!
I'm hoping to get my hands on the new X-T4 soon to do a proper review on the camera as so far it seems to be a beast!

We got invited to spent 2 weeks in this beautiful West Coast Beach house. Only a few feet away from the breaking waves and endless beaches of the West Coast. We spent lockdown in style thanks to Casa Blu.
You couldn’t get closer to the beach if you tried than at this hidden treasure up the West Coast. It’s the best kind of surprise at the end of the 90-minute drive from Cape Town to the little holiday town of Dwarskersbos, and just when you find yourself wondering where you’re headed, you arrive at the end of the road, the beach sand virtually there as you jump out the car. There’s a delicious sense of being far removed from it all once ensconced at Casa Blu’, a loftily proportioned, contemporary take on the charming fisherman cottages so beloved of the region. It has the typical whitewashed walls, shuttered windows, and wide, shady stoep, but with lots of clever details and immaculate styling thrown in for a look that manages to be both sophisticated and perfectly relaxed.
One of the best things about the house is that you can enjoy the ocean views from just about every room, including while prepping meals in the lovely open-plan kitchen. But there’s no better spot for enjoying sundowners than on the upstairs terrace, dubbed the whale-watching terrace for good reason – and not only whales but also the breathtaking spectacle of Heaviside dolphins leaping through the surf. Mornings here start off with coffee taken down to the beach before heading back to the house for breakfast. Just 12km away is the fish market and a good butcher where you can stock up for the evening’s braai. After an exhausting day in the surf and sun, curl up under cool Egyptian cotton sheets and light, breathable throws, just the thing for muggy summer nights. All the bedrooms have been individually decorated with the same loving attention to detail found throughout this fabulous retreat.

Toulouse Fullback Cheslin Kolbe married the beautiful Layla at the beautiful Webersburg Estate at the foot of the Stellenbosch mountains.
With a star studded guest list and the beautiful Stellenbosch mountain range as the backdrop, Layla & Cheslin started the day with great excitement and a slight hint of nervousness.
With both parties getting dressed at Webersburg it was a mini battle between bride and groom to not sneak a peek throughout the morning.
Shooting both Layla & Cheslin was so easy as this couple needed no help being intimate and full of love during the couple shoot. Cheslin could not get enough of his wife and all we needed to do was point our cameras in their direction.
Thank you Cheslin & Layla for sharing your big day with us. We hope you enjoy this Highlights Video from your wedding day.
